MARITAL DRAMA
Mrs. Akintola requested 100,000 naira from her millionaire husband for her manicure, pedicure, etc. Her husband refused, saying, 'Just yesterday, I gave you 500,000 naira for shopping.' The man later changed his mind to test his wife. He packed his dirty clothes (pants, boxers, and some pairs of shorts) and put 150,000 naira in one of the pockets, asking his wife to collect the clothes and wash them. However, she bluntly refused.
When Vivian, their housemaid, returned from the market and saw the clothes outside, she hurriedly packed them and washed them. She was shocked and surprised to discover 150,000 naira in one of the pockets. Vivian rushed upstairs to return the money to her boss, but Mrs. Akintola asked her why she was rushing towards her husband's room. Vivian explained, and Mrs. Akintola ordered the maid to give her the money, saying it was meant for her.
The husband came down from his room hurriedly and told the maid to keep the money for herself. He warned her not to give his wife a dime, saying the money was meant for whoever washed the clothes. This made Mrs. Akintola angry with the housemaid, saying she should have shown her the money first before thinking of returning it to her husband. She accused her husband of having an affair with Vivian, their housemaid, else he would not give a common maid such a large sum of money.
