YOUTH SERVICE ON SUNDAY 21ST MAY 2023

COMMENCEMENT:
The service commenced at exactly 09:07a.m

OPENING PRAYER:
Opening prayer was led by Elder N. U. Abasiama.

CHORUSES:
Brother Daniel Kokoette Bassey was ushered in for choruses.

HYMN:
The church continued praising God from Efik Hymn No. 127 and was led by Elder I. J. Ikie

CHOIR MINISTRATION:
Women Choir rendered their piece to the glory of God.

SCRIPTURE READING:
Scripture Reading was taken from Revelation Chapter 4:1-11 and was read by Deacon Godwin Umoren Peter.

CHOIR MINISTRATION:
After the scripture reading, Youth Choir gave their rendition preparing the congregation for worship.

WORSHIP:
Worship session was led by Brother Elisha Israel James.

CHOIR MINISTRATION:
Main choir was called to minister unto God immediately after worship.

OFFERING:
Tithe and Offering was offered unto God by the congregation.

ANNOUNCEMENT:
Church Announcement was made by Elder A. A. Udoh
SERMON:
Deacon Nsikan Philip John preached on the Topic: “DO NOT REWARD GOOD WITH EVIL” and was taken from the book of Proverbs Chapter 17:13.

Ref: Proverbs 3:29

Summary:
In summary he said, if you have been making someone to cry; repent, for the kingdom of God is near.

He further said that we should serve our masters well with sincere heart, for there is reward for it, and that there is no short cut to wealth.

BENEDICTION / CLOSING:
Closing hymn No. 348 was led by Elder A. A. Udoh and benediction was done by Elder E. E. Ekpo. The service came to a close at exactly 11:58a.m.

The service was moderated by Deacon Anthony Ekereuke and Interpreted by Brother Abasiakama Okon Essien.

YOUTH SERVICE ON SUNDAY 16TH APRIL 2023

The service commenced by 09:06a.m with an opening prayer by Pastor R. G. Umoabasi. After the opening prayer, the chorus leader, Brother Aniedi Jonah Akpan was ushered in.

The church continued praising God from Efik Hymn No. 189, after which was song ministration by the Sunday School Choir and Women Choir respectively followed by Scripture Reading, taken from Matthew gospel Chapter 28:1-10 and was read by Brother Anthony Ekereuke. After the scripture reading, Youth Choir gave their rendition.

Worship session was led by Brother Abasiakama Okon Essien. Immediately after worship, Main choir was called to minister unto God and that was followed by Tithe and Offering.

Church Announcement was made by Elder A. A. Udoh and at the end of announcement; Brother Nsuhoridem Essien was ushered in for Sermon.

SERMON:

Brother Nsuhoridem preached on the Topic: “What kind of God are you serving?” The theme was taken from the book of Daniel Chapter 6 : 15- 20.

He summarized his preaching with the story of Daniel and that of the three Hebrew men that served God. (Daniel 3:1-end).

He went further to say that we should not serve two masters rather, we should repent from our sins and served the only true God, for the kingdom of God is at hand and on the last day we all will give account of what we did while on earth

Benediction was done by Elder I. J. Ikie and the service came to a close at exactly 12:52pm.

The service was moderated by Brother Anibiet Akpan and Interpreted by Deacon Idongesit E. Akpan.
