⢠TOPIC: GRACE THAT SUSTAINS YOU.
⢠šµ HYMN:
āGUIDE ME, O THOU GREAT JEHOVAHā
Verse 1:
Guide me, O Thou great Jehovah,
Pilgrim through this barren land;
I am weak, but Thou art mighty,
Hold me with Thy powerful hand;
Bread of heaven,
Bread of heaven,
Feed me till I want no more,
Feed me till I want no more.
Verse 2:
Open Thou the crystal fountain,
Whence the healing stream doth flow;
Let the fire and cloudy pillar
Lead me all my journey through;
Strong Deliverer,
Strong Deliverer,
Be Thou still my strength and shield,
Be Thou still my strength and shield.
Verse 3:
When I tread the verge of Jordan,
Bid my anxious fears subside;
Death of death, and hellās destruction,
Land me safe on Canaanās side;
Songs of praises,
Songs of praises,
I will ever give to Thee,
I will ever give to Thee.
š ANCHOR SCRIPTURE (NKJV)
2 Corinthians 12:9
āAnd He said to me, āMy grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.ā Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.ā
š§ MEMORY VERSE (NKJV):
2 Corinthians 12:9a
āMy grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.ā
⢠MESSAGE:
Grace does not only save you; grace sustains you.
There are seasons in life when prayer does not remove the burden, fasting does not shorten the process, and strength fails you completely. In such moments, God does not always change the situationābut He releases sustaining grace.
Paul prayed earnestly for the thorn to be removed, yet God answered him with a revelation, not a removal:
āMy grace is sufficient for you.ā
This reveals a deep truth:
God sometimes allows weakness so that His strength can become visible.
Sustaining grace is the grace that:
⢠Keeps you standing when you should have collapsed.
⢠Keeps your faith alive when answers delay.
⢠Keeps your heart steady in prolonged pressure.
ā¢
Grace does not always lift the weight; sometimes it strengthens your shoulders.
š Isaiah 40:29 (NKJV)
āHe gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.ā
Grace is Godās supernatural supply that flows daily, not once. It is renewed strength for renewed challenges.
šŖ ILLUSTRATION:
Think of a candle burning through the night.
It does not burn because the night is easy; it burns because the flame is sustained.
In the same way, many believers are still standingānot because life has been kind, but because grace has been faithful.
You may feel weak, but if you are still praying, still believing, still moving forwardāgrace is at work.
āļø EXHORTATION:
Do not despise your weakness.
Do not interpret exhaustion as failure.
Weakness is often the stage where God displays His power most clearly.
Stop asking, āWhy am I weak?ā
Start declaring, āGodās grace is sustaining me.ā
š£ DAILY LIFE APPLICATION:
Depend more on God than on your strength
Rest in grace instead of striving
Acknowledge God daily for sustaining you
Speak Godās Word when you feel overwhelmed.
š PRAYER POINTS:
Father, thank You for sustaining me by Your grace.
Lord, let Your strength be perfected in my weakness.
I receive fresh grace for every challenge before me.
Carry me through seasons I cannot handle alone.
Let the power of Christ rest upon my life daily.
āļø PRAYER OF SALVATION / REDEDICATION:
ššLord Jesus,
I come to You acknowledging my weakness and need for You.
I believe that You died for my sins and rose again.
Today, I receive Your grace and surrender my life to You.
Forgive me, cleanse me, and strengthen me by Your Spirit.
I rededicate my heart fully to You.
In Jesusā name, Amen.
š£ļø PERSONAL PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
I declare that Godās grace is sufficient for me.
I am sustained, strengthened, and upheld by divine grace.
I will not collapse under pressure.
My weakness will reveal Godās power.
I move forward today by grace, not by might.
š„ APOSTLEāS PROPHETIC DECLARATION:
I decree into your life today:
You will not faint, you will not fail, and you will not give up.
Grace will sustain you through every trial and transition.
The strength of God will carry you where human strength ends.
This season will not break youāit will reveal Godās power in you.
You will emerge stronger, wiser, and full of testimony.
In Jesusā mighty name. Amen.
š”MY COUNSEL:
Rest in Godās grace.
Do not rush your process or compare your journey with others.
Lean fully on God, especially when you feel weakābecause that is when He is strongest in you.
Encourage yourself daily in the Lord, and keep the flame burning.
