FASTING & PRAYER – FIRST WEEK
1. PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING AND PRAISES UNTO GOD
Psalms 150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
Isaiah 38:19 The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day:
the father to the children shall make known thy truth.
Heb. 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
Praises and thanks unto God are divine demands on every breathing being.
Even if you think God has not done anything else for you apart from giving you life, you still owe Him praise
Anytime you are thoughtful, you will be thankful to God.
The scriptures emphasize the need to praise and give thanks to God even when things are not going the way we expected. That attitude becomes our sacrifice unto God.
PRAYERS
i. Heavenly Father, I give you thanks for giving me life to be a partaker of this season of consecration and transformation.
ii. My Lord and my God, I thank you especially for my family and the Church that you exempted from becoming victims of the covid 19 pandemic
iii. I appreciate you my Father for the privilege of salvation and the Grace of continuity in the faith that you have given me.
( Phil. 2:13)
iv. I give you praise my Lord and my God for all the battles, physical and spiritual, that confronted me and I overcame by your Grace in the past one year.
v. I give praise to you my Gracious God, who didn’t permit Satan to embarrass my family and the entire Word Assembly family through negative occurrences in this past one year.
vi. Heavenly Father, I appreciate you for your unfailing deliverance from all the wicked schemes of darkness that was targeted at me in the past one year.
vii. I magnify the name of my Lord and savior Jesus Christ for timely provision and consistent sustenance for my family, especially during the global lockdown. We prevailed. Hallelujah!
viii. Give thanks to God for the growth that the Church Word Assembly experienced in the past one year, for the new Church Centres established, and the new ministry opportunities granted to us both locally and internationally.
ix. Give thanks to God for the life, family and ministry of our Senior Pastors, Philip and Olubunmi Igbinijesu, that is waxing stronger day by day.
x. Appreciate the Lord for every family in Word Assembly worldwide for His amazing covering, preservation, provision, guidance and loving kindness.
2. PRAYERS OF CONSECRATION AND SPIRITUAL RENEWAL
1 Tim.2:8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
PSALMS 4:3 But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself:
the Lord will hear when I call unto him.
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Prov.14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
PRAYERS
i. Heavenly Father, I come to ask for purging, cleansing and forgiveness from every sinful contamination, short coming and transgression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
ii. Father, I disconnect myself from every indulgence, every corruption, every ungodly association, every distraction, every time and life wasting endeavor in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
iii. My Lord and my God, I rededicate my life to you and to the service of your Kingdom from now forward in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
iv. I receive divine enablement to wait on you in prayer and fasting throughout this month in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
v. I submit myself under the protection and the defense of the Holy Spirit. I decree and declare that I shall neither be distracted by sickness nor bodily weakness throughout this consecration month in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
vi. I arrest every environmental or emotional disturbance that can shift my focus in this season from prayer, from fasting and from God in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
vii. I decree and declare that peace of mind, serenity, and divine encouragement shall es**rt me through this fasting month in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
viii. I sanctify my heart, my thoughts, my imaginations, my words and my actions from this season forward. No ungodly thought shall emanate from my heart, No corrupt communication shall proceed out my mouth in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
ix. I receive the strength and the spirit of Grace and supplication to prevail with God as I pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
x. Holy Spirit of God, I submit and surrender all my faculties to you as channels for divine communication and guidance from this moment in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
3. PRAYER FOR HEALTH
3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Jer. 33:6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
Isaiah 58:8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy rereward.
Rom. 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
PRAYERS
i. Heavenly Father, I thank you for the state of my health presently. I am grateful that you didn’t allow the enemy to go beyond the limits that you have set. Be exalted in Jesus name.
ii. My Father and my God, I submit all the organs of my body to the quickening power of the Holy Spirit in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
iii. Every symptom of sickness, disease and infirmity in my body, I command you to disappear in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
iv. Every poisonous substance or deposit within my body, I command you to be ejected by the authority I have in Christ Jesus, in the name of Jesus Christ.
v. As I lay my hands on my head (Lay your hands on your head) right now, I command my recovery from all ailments in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
vi. I decree and declare that I overcome sickness by the blood of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, and by the word of my testimony. I testify that I am not the sick, I am the healed of the Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
vii. I prophesy healing into every area of my life and every sphere of my existence. I am healed in my body, healed in my soul, healed in my spirit, healed in my marital life, healed in my ministerial life, healed in my financial life, healed in my vocational life, I declare my environment healed, I declare my vision healed, I declare my offspring and family members healed, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
4. PRAYER FOR ESTABLISHMENT IN RIGHTEOUSNESS
Jer. 23:5-6 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, the Lord our Righteousness.
1 Jn. 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
Phil. 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
i. Heavenly Father, I pray that you will help me to give your word the prime place it should occupy in my life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
ii. Oh Lord my God, you name is God my righteousness. Today, I receive the freely flowing grace to live a righteous life for the rest of my life in Jesus name.
iii. I shut the gate of my life against every instrument of unrighteousness around me in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
iv. I decree and declare that my thoughts and imaginations are sanctified, my relationships are sanctified, my actions are sanctified, my motives are sanctified, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ
v. I decree and declare that I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am a doer and a preacher of righteousness. I refuse to live in the trap of self-deception in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
vi. I reject every trap of self-righteousness in the name of Jesus Christ. My faith is anchored on the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am a saint of God in Jesus name.
I decree and declare that I shall be established in righteousness and I’m far from oppression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. (Isaiah 54:14)
