Good morning my brothers and sisters...

This is a message inspired by the Holy Spirit to you all as we commence this fruit year the Lord has made for us.

We must be wary on how quickly we embrace this so called meaningless "New Age Culture"

Please let us start as from now henceforth write the name of our Lord, Jesus in full or especially "In the name of Jesus" in full not using acronyms.

IJN means "Imperial Japanese Navy" since 1945 during the Second World War before the new generation use of "In Jesus Name". Be very careful and wary of what you embrace.

IJN also has similar diction spelling of a Genie /ˈdʒiːni/ a spirit of Arabian folklore, as depicted traditionally imprisoned within a bottle or oil lamp, and capable of granting wishes when summoned. I bet you'll not love to contend with such spirit when it appears.

The name of Jesus is a strong tower and according to the His Word in Philippians 2:10 and I quote "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth"

Please it doesn't take you anything to write "In Jesus Name" in full and never use the acronym.

Happy St. Valentine’s Day?

Going straight to the point… Everyday should be Valentine’s Day for a Christian and to burst your bubbles my dear family St. Valentine shouldn’t be a standard in expressing your love to your loved ones because we already have someone who is and will always be a standard when it comes to the matter of the heart, body, mind and soul who needs no introduction…don’t tell me you still haven’t gotten who I’m talking about.

Okay then let us start by answering these questions; Who is always there for you when your heart is broken and you have no other person to turn to? Who understands you better despite your short comings and takes you the way you are when others can’t even stand you and they complain but He teaches you the right path to go with love UNDERSTANDING who you real are? Who covers your shame when you can’t pay the bills on time or you are found wanting for as little as N50 to pay for a biscuit? I can go on and on unless you don’t have a relationship with this Guy Who happens to be the lover of our souls…Yeah if you have a relationship with Him then you’ll know Who Is Jesus or you think He doesn't do all these things?.

Paul the Apostle by the leading of the Holy Spirit shared in 1 Corinthians 13 and I quote “If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

Jesus is love and will always be not St. Valentine.

We should celebrate love everyday same goes with Christmas…well that’s another topic entirely.

So, I implore you, tell your beloved today, could be your children or your spouse or even your neighbour that “I love you because you mean a great deal to me”

Happy with Jesus all the time and all the way.
