Today, we celebrate a woman whose presence is a gift and whose life is a testimony of God's goodness. ❤️

Mama, thank you for every prayer, every word of wisdom, every sacrifice, every act of kindness, and every moment you've spent pouring into the lives of others.

You have been a mother, mentor, counsellor, friend, and a shining example of what it means to serve with love.

As you step into another year, may God reward you for every seed you've sown. May He fill your days with laughter, your heart with peace, and your life with beautiful testimonies.

May you experience God's goodness in greater dimensions and may your best days truly be ahead of you.

COSTLY MISTAKES: WHEN RELATIONSHIPS SPEAK FOR YOU

Don’t compare yourself with others. Not every mistake costs the same.

King Saul made costly mistakes, and the consequences were immediate. His disobedience cost him his throne and ultimately his life.

King Solomon also made costly mistakes. He turned away from God, and God declared that the kingdom would be taken from him. Yet, Solomon was “spared” from experiencing the full consequence of his actions during his lifetime; not because his mistakes were less serious, but because of the covenant and relationship God had with David, his father.

This is a reminder that relationships matter.

Solomon benefited from a relationship he did not establish. Saul, however, did not have that same covering.

Our relationship with God can speak for us, and the relationships we build with people can also become a source of favor, covering, and mercy in seasons when our mistakes should have cost us more.

Build relationships. Nurture them. Walk with God. Because someday, the relationship you have built may speak for you.
