The heavens belong to our God; they are his alone, but he has given us the earth and put us in charge.
Psalm 115: 16 (TPT)
The Heavens are His. He has perfect dominion there. That is why Lucifer had to be thrown out of Heaven. There must be no rebellion or resistance to God's rule and reign in Heaven.
In His sovereignty and grace, God has given us the earth. The earth is now ours just as the heavens are His.
However, it is not automatic. You have to exert your dominion here if you want to be established in what you have been given and enjoy all its goodness.
You must have the governing or controlling influence, not Satan or any natural force.
Exerting your dominion requires that you hold out against every opposing influence and ultimately prevail over satanic forces.
Exerting your dominion requires engaging PRAYER'S PREVAILING POWER.
