Jesus our True Shepherd
Psalm 23 Vs 1, Mathew 9 Vs 36
As humans we tend to worry about a lot of things, like what to eat, drink, money, what to wear, our security, our future and so many others things which then lead us into different types of depressions and health problems. But Mathew 6 Vs 25-34 says something sweet and different which we should always hold onto.
The main reason we tend to be like that is that we think we are alone, and we can achieve everything on our own by ourselves which is a big lie the devil always feed into our head. We lack the true and right faith in our true shepherd which is our lord Jesus Christ.
The shepherd knows everything the sheep needs, and that's why he is there to direct them and provide everything they want. If David could say he goes after and kill the lion who toils with one of his sheep, what more then of our loving father in heaven, 1 Sam 17 Vs 34-37.
A shepherd is a person who herds, tends, guards, feed, and watches over a person or group of persons and sheep. Psalm 23 is a perfect example of how loving a shepherd our lord Jesus is, Psalm 23 Vs 1 " The lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want ". That's the word of David, if you have Jesus you lack nothing and you have everything. So why worry, unless you are an unbelieving believer who thinks everything is by work and not by faith.
God knows all our heart desires, and he knows what we want, Mathew 6 Vs 8 " Don't be like them, for your father knows what you need before you ask". The only problem is that we mix complains with our asking which then make it difficult for us to see our miracles and victory which we already have.
Our true shepherd's nature is love, and he loves us a lot more than we can think of. When we were sinners he loved us, what more of when we are in his family, he will surely give us everything we ask for, he that didn't spare his only son for us, why won't he give us the whole world if we ask in faith.
We should always learn to run to him in our
