All praise and adoration are due to Allah (SWT) for the success of this year's Ikorodu Recite. May Allah's peace and blessings be upon our Holy Prophet Muhammad.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our spiritual leader, the Grand Chief Imam of Ikorodu Division, Fadilat Sheikh Seifudeen Ayinla Ademoritan Olowooribi, for his guidance and wisdom. May Allah continue to illuminate his path.

We also appreciate the generous support of the sponsor, the family of the late Alhaji Abubakr Akinpelu (Abel Abu), the Late Ààrẹ Adinni of Ikorodu Central Mosque. May Allah bless them abundantly and grant our late Ààrẹ Aljanah Firdaus.

To the participants, we commend your dedication and spirit of sportsmanship. Your efforts in memorizing and reciting the glorious Qur'an have earned you immense rewards from Allah.

IMPORTANT UPDATE TO PARTICIPATING MODARIS, SCHOOLS AND SOCIETIES

As-salam alaikum waramotuLLah wabarakatu...

As the much anticipated Grand Finale of the 4th Ikorodu Recite Qur'an Competition draws near, we write to inform all participating Modaris, schools, and societies to make it a date to attend this event.

Beyond being the final round of the contest, we cannot shy away from the objective of the initiative, which is to encourage the reading and Memorisation of the glorious Qur'an in our society where immorality has become a norm.

We implore our participants and the general public not to deprive their wards and students in this impactful project.

Participants who made it to the finals will be announced on the day of the Grand finale.

Happening this Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the Ikorodu Eid Prayer Ground, Oke Ota-Ona, Ikorodu.

UPDATE: IKORODU RECITE 4.0 GRAND FINALE POSTPONED

Ikorodu Central Mosque Youth (ICMY), the organisers of the Ikorodu Recite Qur'an Competition announces the postponement of the Grand Finale Ceremony of the Ikorodu Recite 4.0.

The ceremony which was scheduled to be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025 has been postponed till further notice due to unforeseen circumstances.

We hereby urge our participants and attendees to kindly bear with us as this postponement has nothing to do with the results of the preliminaries. We are currently dotting our i's and crossing our t's in order to ensure an epic experience at the grand finale ceremony.

While we urge our participants to patiently await the new date, we believe this postponement will avail you the opportunity to prepare better for the final session.

We appreciate your patience and support towards the success of this year's Ikorodu Recite Qur'an Competition.

Ikorodu Recite 4.0 - Straight to the Finals

Following the success of the preliminary sessions, we are delighted to announce the Grand Finale Ceremony of the 2025 Ikorodu Recite Qur'an Competition.

Scheduled to hold on the 31st of August, 2025 at the Ikorodu Eid Prayer Ground, After Ikorodu Water Corporation, Ota-Ona.

As it is a tradition, all participants are invited to the event where the last standing contenders will be announced.
