14t February has become symbolic for love, nay lust, over the legacy of St. Valentine who died many years ago.
St. Valentine was a Chatolic priest at Rome during the reign of Claudius II who found it tough at that time to get young people recurred into military to strengthen his kingdom. The emperor later found out that people don't want to leave their families to join his military, because of this he placed an embargo on marriage but since the decree was against the plan of God for mankind St. Valentine as a priest was assisting christians couples in marriage secretly. He was later caught and prosecuted, and sentenced to death and the day he was kill was 14th February..
Today as St. Valentine day we record total abuse by people. The day has turned to something else in the world today.
Lessons to learn from Saint Valentine are...
1. He was a man of God/Child of God
2. He was promoting the love of Christ
3. He was promoting the continuity of mankind
4. He stood against personal interest of a person ment to destroy the plans of God for humanity.
5. He stood and died for his faith in Christ.
6. He was a courageous christian who was ready to obey God rather than man or any wicked leader
7. He did not promote irresponsibilities or sexual immorality
Look at the above, which one are you going to promote in this Valentine day
The love of Christ or the devil's manipulations and perversion of God's original plans .

Any acts that is not godly in day of Valentine is not what Valentine died for and a wicked act toward what the man did for his generation. in conclusion, Let today be used to promote godliness, selflessness, loving one another in Christ and God will bless u. But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.—Romans 7:6

We are free from Law! Does that mean anarchy and lawlessness? Absolutely not! No, because the grace that freed us also brought God's HOLY Spirit to live within. He can empower us to do what we could not do on our own. He can help us in our weakness to pray with confidence and boldness to the Father. With his help, we are brought into a circle of accountable friends, tied by the grace of God and the Spirit of Christ. Thank God for the "new way"!

Father, thank you for redeeming and delivering me from the requirements of law and placing your Spirit in my heart to help me be more than I could ever be trying to obey the Law. In Jesus' name I praise you. Amen.
