My own opinion is that if anointing or spiritual gifts are transferable from man to man, don't we think that naturally, every Carrier of Grace or anointing would transfer them to their children, spouse, brothers and sisters. Consider it. But it's not so. You don't call your children or husband or wife because you are called by God.
Having said this, let's us go to the Epistles of Paul. People should forget about the old testament dispensation because Jesus never come that time and the was no gift of the holy Spirit or indwelling of the holy Spirit. Hebrew 12:2; looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith..... Noticed that the writer of Hebrews didn't say looking unto Moses, or Elijah, or Abraham, or the Prophets of the old but he Said Unto Jesus. Build your doctrine around new testament because the old testament is the new testament concealed
Now let's look at this this important scriptures talking about the gifts of Grace. Eph. 3:1-8. Pau talked about dispensations of Grace, he talked about aged dispensation, he talked about the spirit. Now fast forward to Eph. 4:7 Paul said but unto everyone of us is grace given according to the measure of Christ. He said according to the measure of Christ and the grace was given.
Verse 8; says wherefore he said, when he ascended up on high he led the captivity captive AND GAVE GIFTS UNTO MEN
Verse 11; And he gave some Apostles, and some prophets and some Evangelist, some Pastors and Teachers. All the gifts were given by Jesus Christ when ascended up and sat in the right hand of God, he shared the gifts.
Let's look at another Epistle of Paul in 1st Corinthians 12:28-29
It says, "And God hath set some in the church, first the Apostles, secondarily Prophets, thirdly teachers after that Miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, government, diversity of tongues". 29 says Are all Apostles, are all prophets, are all teachers, are all workers of miracles. The answers are NO in capital letters.
