CONSEQUENCES OF SPIRITUAL MALNUTRITION
"Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now I kept thy word"
(Psalms 119:67)

There are consequences of spiritual malnutrition just like there is in the physical. One major consequence is low spiritual immunity. When you don't eat well in the physical, you become malnourished and as a result, your immunity is reduced. This makes your system unable to fight against infections/diseases. This is also the case in the spiritual realm. When your word intake is low, and the revelation density of your spirit is low, you will have low spiritual immunity. This makes you vulnerable to attacks, afflictions, etc. You will have little or no resistance against the missiles of the enemy and if nothing is done about it, you will end in tragedy. It is the word of God that builds up your spirit man, boosts your faith and gives you the stamina to resist the fiery darts of the wicked and have good success in life (Ephesians 6:16; Joshua 1:8)

Develop a large appetite for the word today. Enlarge your spiritual capacity. The devil and his cohorts responds to you according to your spiritual weight/size. Don't let demons intimidate you because of your low spiritual capacity. Feed more on the word today and remain a spiritual heavy weight champion! God bless you!

DISCOVER PURPOSE
"For this purpose the son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil" (1John 3:8b)

Purpose is a definite intention, the objective or reason for which something or someone exists. God seperated you for a divine plan even before you were born. In Jeremiah 1 vs. 5, God speaking to Jeremiah said, "before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee and before thou camest forth out of the womb, I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations". To every man there's an assignment. Until you discover your assignment, you can never exercise dominion on earth. Your level of impact in life is tied to your purpose and until purpose is discovered, manifestation will be impossible.

Unfortunately, a lot of people are not bothered about discovering God's purpose and plan for their lives. They think that life is about being born, growing up, getting married, having a good number of Children, sleeping, waking up and then waiting for the next meal to come from anywhere, and so they care less about what happens next. This is a very big mistake. It is important that you discover the Purpose for which you were created so that you will not live in error all your life.

Jesus Christ our perfect example understood His purpose and that was why he was able to impact the world so greatly in just thirty-three years. The devil too has a mission which he is pursuing with great tenacity; killing, stealing and destinies on a daily basis (John 10:10). You will never be his victim in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

A knowledge of who you are and the purpose for which God created you will not only keep you focused, but will give you a sense of direction. It helps you plan and act better and consequently makes way for your relevance in life. I pray for you today, may the Almighty God open your eyes to your purpose today and grant you the grace to become all that He has called you to be in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

GO FOR EXCELLENCE
"Then this Daniel was preferred above the Presidents and Princes because an excellent spirit was in him; and the King thought to set him over the whole realm" (Daniel 6:3)

Of a truth, whatever is worth doing, is worth doing well. Excellence involves doing the normal/ordinary things in an extraordinary or unusual way. It is that extra effort, energy, concept,etc, that one adds to that which he or she does in order to distinguish himself or herself.

Life is full of limitations when excellence is not applied in any field of life. The easiest way to silence racism or gender discrimination is through excellence. Ben Carson, a black man distinguished himself in his field. As a neurosurgeon, he made outstanding impact with the seperation of the Siamese twins who were joined skull to skull. This is what excellence is all about. Daniel was preferred above presidents and princes because he had an excellent spirit. This same spirit of excellence made ways for him and brought him great relevance in a foreign land.

Anyone who wins in Olympics is worthy of a medal no matter your race or colour, and so each time you affect your world through excellence, your background and qualification becomes irrelevant.

Child of God, you don't need a charm to make it in that buisness, career, relationship, ministry, etc. All you need is excellence. People will always be attracted to anything done excellently. Put in your best in all that you do and never settle for less. Go for excellence and rise above all limits.

WISDOM JOINT: YOUR QUALIFICATION OR BACKGROUND BECOMES IRRELEVANT WHEN EXCELLENCE IS IN PLAY!

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, endow me with the spirit of excellence that I may be able to rise above limitations and be more relevant to my generation in Jesus Name, Amen!

DARE TO BE DIFFERENT
"But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the King's meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the enuchs that he might not defile himself.
(Daniel 1:8)

A usual saying goes thus: if you don't beat them, you join them". This statement does not point to excellence. It takes a man who is determined enough to differ against all odds to make an impact in life. To be different means to stand out. It's about being an example. It involves moving away from the crowd and becoming a reference point. Excellence in life does not answer to hard work alone,
It answers to men who are willing to do the normal things the abnormal way. Most of us do not like to be different. We prefer to follow the general trend of the present time, approaching issues just the way majority does. No wonder we keep having same old results, with no improvements at all. That an opinion is accepted by the majority does not make it AUTHENTIC or approved by God. Daniel maintained an excellent record in a strange land because he dared to be different. On several occasions, he took certain decisions contrary to what was obtainable and acceptable by all. He refused to eat the King's meat (Daniel 1:8), and also refused to bow to Nebuchadnezzar's image (Daniel 3:16-18). And the end of it all, his result was outstanding (Daniel 1:15; Daniel 3:16-30).

Indeed, it pays to be different. Child of God, you have followed the crowd enough, yet you have nothing to show for it; why not do something different and experience a change. You have copied others enough, it's high time others started copying you! When everyone choose to do things the wrong way, child of God, dare to be different. It may not be convenient at that very point in time, but at the end, your result will be worth the stress. Dare to be different if you must make a difference in your generation. Stand out from the crowd and go for your crown.

WISDOM JOINT: UNTIL YOU STAND OUT, YOU WILL NEVER BE OUTSTANDING!

PRAYER: I refuse to remain in the crowd. As I step out in Obedience to God at all times, may my impact be outstanding, in Jesus Name, Amen!

AN EPISTLE OF CHRIST
"Clearly you are an epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink but by the spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tables of flesh that is, of the heart" (2 Corinthians 3:3)

Why letters of introduction are conventionally needed before someone not well known by an individual or an organization is allowed into a deal is because of lack of trust. Human beings over time have searched and displayed so much evil in the world that make men suspicious of one another. Christians who are expected to carry the mark of Christ are expected to act in sincerity and in truth. A child of God should be a letter (not written by men), but by Christ Himself. He should be approved by heaven with transparency displayed in the eyes of men. In other words, our lives should follow the principles of Christ so that they may see and give glory to God. Be bold to manifest as a living letter of Jesus Christ. It is not impossible!

This calls for practical Christianity which speaks louder than words and may easily give conviction for salvation to sinners. From today, may your life speak Christ to the whole world in Jesus Name, Amen.

WISDOM JOINT: UNTIL YOUR LIFE BECOMES A COMPASS TO THE LOST, YOU ARE NOT DIFFERENT FROM AN INFIDEL!

PRAYER: Oh Lord, I refuse to be a disgrace to the body of Christ and I depend on you for grace to keep the right path, in Jesus Name, Amen.

KINGDOM EXPANSION (Save a soul today)
"And he said unto them,Go ye into the World and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:1,15)

A.B Simpson, a great missionary of the past usually hugged the globe to his chest and wept over the world's lostness. His global vision was centred on his compassion for lost souls. We ought to share the same passion too if we must expand God's Kingdom and consequently depopulate the kingdom of darkness. In order to achieve this, you and I also must feel the responsibility to take the gospel to our world by sharing the good news of God's love with the people around us. Unfortunately, we often think that the great commission is only meant for Pastors, Evangelists and other ministers of the gospel, but this is not true. It involves everyone who has received Jesus Christ as His Lord and personal Saviour. It also involves sharing the good news to lost individuals in your family, neighborhood, work place, schools, in and outside your locality, and also to the world at large.

God is counting on you dear friend to make His Kingdom expansion a reality. You can't afford to disappoint now. If everyone can take up the challenge of reaching out to a lost soul every single day, then the Kingdom expansion will be a reality.

Make up your mind to reproduce yourself anywhere you find yourself. Don't be left out if this great gospel campaign. Join the company of the wise men (Proverbs 11:30b) Save a soul today.

WISDOM JOINT: HE THAT WINNETH A SOUL IS WISE!
