HAPPY EASTER SUNDAY
Alleluia! Christ is risen! Today, on this glorious Easter Sunday, Celestial Church of Christ world wide rejoices in the triumphant resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. HAVE A BLESSED GOOD FRIDAY
Today, as Christians worldwide observe Good Friday, we gather in solemn remembrance of the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ. This day, though marked by profound sorrow and sacrifice, is a testament to His immense love for humanity.
Let us reflect deeply on the suffering Christ endured for our redemption. May we find strength and humility in His example, and may His sacrifice inspire us to live lives of compassion, forgiveness, and love.
While today is a day of somber reflection, it is also a crucial step towards the glorious resurrection we will celebrate on Easter Sunday. May this Good Friday deepen our faith and prepare our hearts for the joy that is to come.

GOOD FRIDAY

MATTHEW 27:50-53

Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocksrent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose. And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

KEY VERSE

“Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost" V.50

MESSAGE

What is the significance of the events that occurred after Jesus gave up His spirit? First, it was recorded that the veil of the temple tore in two. This signified a shift from the old covenant to the new. Previously, it was necessary for a sinner to go through a priest to reconcile with God, but now we have direct access to God through the new high priest, Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:13-18, Hebrews 9:1-28).

Secondly, the graves were opened, and the bodies of saints arose. This demonstrates that even those who are referred to as saints did not have their spirits reconciled with God, and Jesus became the firstborn from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:20). He paved the way, as David prophesied in Psalm 24: "Lift up your heads, O gates; and be lifted up, O everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in."

This is the greatest miracle and indeed a profound mystery; Jesus created a path to everlasting life for us after the devil condemned us to eternal destruction. What a wonderful work Jesus did for us. It is truly a Good Friday!

Supplication:

Lord Jesus, thank you for your work of salvation. I praise you for this wonderful work and I will praise you till eternity. Amen.
