NGOLONG NGAS THROWS WEIGHT BEHIND RELIGIOUS LEADERS, CALLS FOR SUSTAINED PRAYERS FOR NATION'S PEACE.
His Majesty, *Nde Jika Golit, the Ngolong Ngas and* President, Pankshin/Kanke Joint Traditional council,Plateau State has thrown his weight behind religious leaders in their concerted efforts to pray for the peace, unity and progress of the Nation.
His Majesty stated this when *Evangelist Abraham John,* Founder, Abraham John World Outreach Ministries and Victory Arena International, Lagos, paid homage to him in his palace at Pankshin on Monday 28/9/2026.
The revered Royal Father described the role of Traditional and Religious leaders as critical and complementary in maintaining peace and societal harmony, especially at this time when the Nation is passing through daunting security and socio-economic challenges.
While appreciating the Man of God for choosing Pankshin, His Majesty noted that God has a divine purpose for choosing Pankshin as a point of delivery of His message to the people.
He prayed that God will reveal everything to him so that his mission will be of immense spiritual benefit, not only to the people of Pankshin but to the entire citizens of Plateau State and Nigeria at large.
Earlier in his remarks, Evangelist Abraham John disclosed that he was in Pankshin for a three-day Healing and Deliverance Crusade with the theme *"Pharaoh, Let My People Go" - Exodus 9:1.*
He explained that he had never heard of Pankshin before his divine calling to the town, adding that when he received the call from God to minister to the people, the name initially sounded like a city somewhere in Asia, and he had to conduct a Google search before discovering it as a Local Government Area in Plateau State, Nigeria.
Describing the call as very significant and divinely ordained, the Evangelist stressed that Pankshin is part of the land God has chosen for the extension of His mercy and grace. He maintained that during the three-day crusade, he will be praying fervently for the healing of the land, the protection of its people and the restoration of peace and prosperity, so that the land will be fruitful and God will grant the Royal Father more wisdom and strength to lead.
In his introductory remarks, the Chairman, Pankshin Local Government Chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, *Pastor Felix Boyi,* said it was a great privilege to host the Evangelist for the crusade in Pankshin.
He thanked His Majesty for the warm reception accorded to the team and prayed that the reign of the Ngolong Ngas will continue to witness tremendous transformation and that the people will continue to live in peace and prosperity.
Highlights of the visit included special prayers for the land, for peace in Plateau State and Nigeria, and for the continued good health and successful reign of His Majesty, the Ngolong Ngas.
