Re-alignment will always require a sacrifice on our part especially as this is also a leap year where a day has been added to the calender to bring it back into alignment with earth’s rotation; as what is true in the physical is more true in realm of the spirit. The Lord is giving us another opportunity to come back into alignment with his will, His word and His purpose for our lives as a people, individuals ,communities, families and nations that we may fulfil destiny in grand style(.Ps.16:6,Luke 3:5,Rom.12:1,2 ).

2016 is a year of the demonstration of God’s redeeming love,”20” signifying redemption and “16” signifying God’s love. This is a time when those who have patiently waited for Him will see the Lord do things that will make them a people to be wondered at.(1cor.2:9,lamentation 3:22-26).It is time for “a laying down love” a “self denying love” preferring others, putting others needs before ours.

This year 2016 is the year 5776 in Hebrew gematria Ayin Vav . Ayin meaning the seeing eye hence a time of prophetic insight and Vav which means hook or nail making reference to strategic connections and alliances.(Ish.44:28,Ish.45:1,Neh.2:8)
The heavens are invading and engaging the earth at this time and the Ekklesia needs to come into divine alignment to fully reap the blessings of the season.
