God’s Word is complete! “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” Proverbs 16:18

Sometimes the greatest threat to a good plan is not failure but the desire to take the credit. Many people lose their elevation the moment they begin to compete for glory.
The truth is that what sustains us often times requires humility to preserve it.

Remember, God’s Word in 1 Corinthians 4.7: What do you have that you did not receive?

Here are some Lessons to remember from this story:
* The need to receive accolades can make people forget what is really sustaining them is not by their wisdom or strength.
* Humility protects opportunities that arrogance can quickly destroy.
* Many blessings are lost not because the plan failed, but because ego interrupted the process.
* Every gift, opportunity, and idea we possess is something we have received, not something we truly own and God gave them to us for a purpose, to bless others with it and therein be blessed too.

Wisdom sometimes can simply mean staying humble long enough for God’s purpose to take you where you cannot reach by yourself.

Whatever you do, be careful not to live your life based on public opinion. It’s a dangerous way to live and it robs you of what God is saying about you! The integrity of the upright guides them and the ways of the dishonest, ruins their lives. Integrity asks the question, what choices honors God, even when it costs you.

A pure heart produces spiritual clarity. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Seeing God is not just about heaven someday. It is about:
* Recognizing His hand in situations
* Hearing His voice clearly
* Discernment in decisions
* Sensitivity to His presence

- Impurity clouds vision.
* Bitterness clouds vision.
* Jealousy clouds vision.
- Unforgiveness clouds vision.
* Secret sin clouds vision.
Just as dirty lenses distort sight, a polluted heart distorts spiritual perception.

If our heart is cluttered, our spiritual vision will be blurred. May we receive clarity of heart and a discerning Spirit to always do the right things wherever we find ourselves!🙏

Purity is not merely about having a clean reputation. It is not just religious activity or simply attending church. You can look right on the outside and still be far from God on the inside.

That was the problem with the Pharisees. Jesus said in Matthew 23:27 that they were like whitewashed tombs, beautiful outwardly but full of impurity within.

In Scripture, the heart represents the real you. Your motives, desires, intentions, and your hidden thoughts when no one is watching.

That is why the Bible tells us in Proverbs 4:23, “Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the issues of life.”

God is not only looking at what we do, but why we do it. Our real intent.

Purity begins when we allow God to cleanse what people cannot see. Like David prayed in Psalms 51:10, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” When the heart is pure, then our lives will be made right with God

Take a moment today and ask God to search your heart. Real transformation always starts from within.

Everyday, we all are running our own race, not toward a building top as we see in the story, but toward eternity.

The world shouts: Compromise a little; Everyone is doing it; Don’t take holiness that seriously; Salvation? There’s still time, and so on.

But The Scripture reminds us in Hebrews 12:1 to run with endurance the race that is set before us. Also in John 10:27, Jesus says, My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

The question is, whose voice are you tuned into? The voice of the crowd and the noise around (which is always louder), or God’s voice which is often still and small?(1 Kings 19:12).

From the story today, we see many frogs stopped climbing because they listened to fear and only one made it because he was deaf to it.

Sometimes, you must become “deaf” to the noise of culture, peer pressure, doubt, and even well-meaning but faithless advice, so you can be fully attentive to the Spirit of God within you.

That inner conviction nudging you away from sin, the quiet prompting to forgive,
that check in your spirit when something isn’t right? That’s not weakness,
It’s God’s guidance.

Life eternal is daily attained by obedience, endurance, and unwavering focus on Christ.
Don’t let the noise beneath you determine how high you climb in God.Stay focused, faithful and sensitive to His voice.

Because in the end, only those who finish the race receive the crown.

Integrity is your consistency in action even when nobody is watching. Doing the right things even when nobody is watching, knowing that God is always watching. Proverbs11.3

This stems from our understanding that there’s nothing hidden under the sun. The loudest message we can preach in today in a world that is full of noise and distractions, is still our character!

Your character is the real you! Are you working daily on it to become a better version of yourself?

Looks and appearance can be deceptive sometimes and does not give a true representation of who we are.

There is more to us than our physical body. There is the spirit and the soul. If at redemption, what happens is that there is a transformation of our spirit and soul from the kingdom of darkness to His marvelous light, we become new creatures in Christ. This change inside is what eventually changes and influences our character outside that people see. This therefore means that what matters most is what we are on the inside. Mathew 15.11

May we consciously daily work on our inner man to grow in maturity with Christ’s nature so that people who come in contact with us will see our character and glorify God.

We all want to be great in this life and many of us have been searching through the pages of books, through many tutors, through different sources and even searching for wise men and legends to learn this secret.

The best kept secret to greatness however is that we attain greatness when we find and have a passion to live and put that passion behind everything that we do. What is that purpose that we are living for and does this passion to live have eternal connection to our life in eternity? What are we passionately living for today and how does that impact other people’s lives or serve others and our life in eternity?

When we have this clarity in mind, we’ll live intentionally, purposefully and have a great life now and after this side of eternity!

Sometimes we go through certain challenges in life and at some point begin to wonder and think we probably are the only ones going through it and we begin to doubt ourselves or consider ourselves unloved by God hence we’re passing through such situations.

Understand first that God loves you no matter what you are going through. Then realize that you are not alone in that situation. There’s nothing we are going through today that Jesus Christ himself did not pass through for our sakes and yet He was without sin. He came down in human form to model a life for us knowing our weaknesses as humans, and to show us we can scale through all if we can trust and rely on His grace and strength through the person of the Holy Spirit.

So, don’t try to figure it out by your strength or knowledge. Totally yield and surrender to God and ask for His strength, wisdom and guidance as you navigate through that challenge, and see God come through for you!

Understanding our identity in Christ is very crucial for doing the works God has called us to. In Mark 16. 17-18, we see that God already empowered us to do miraculous signs and wonders. Heal the sick, speak in different tongues, raise the dead, cast out demons, trample on snakes with and scorpions and if we drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt us. These abilities are available for us as disciples of Jesus Christ. They are natural signs that follow us as believers, God already enabled us, but the only reason we struggle with living in this reality is when we do not understand our identity in Christ!

In the world we live in today, there are many languishing for lack of knowledge of the word of God. So many are aimless for lack of understanding of same.
As believers, this behoves on us a huge responsibility.

Understanding our identity in Christ is very crucial for doing the works God has called us to. We are a people called with purpose to be visible. Mat 5.16. We are saved to be channels of pointing others back to God’s kingdom. We are harvest hands for Christ.

Receive grace to be a channel of sharing God’s overflowing grace and mercy to the people around you today!

We all have been given one thing in common by God - That is the power of Choice! Alive or dead, it’s in your hands! Jesus Christ already paid the biggest price for our redemption on the cross of Calvary and has freely offered this salvation to all of us! The big question is, would you accept Him or turn your back from this offer? The choice is our hands today.

May His grace abound for us to make that most important choice and choose life eternally in Christ! Amen 🙏

As the Lights of the world, we need to consciously walk in this reality holding ourselves accountable for our actions and also be accountable to someone in the faith who can not only hold us accountable but call us to order in love when we step out of line. It is very important that we encourage each other in the faith and be accountable because we are probably the Bible that most people might have the opportunity of reading and be influenced to want to know Jesus more or not.
