Glorious Islamic Centre Library

Glorious Islamic Centre Library To be a place for research and information sharing with the creation of resourceful website and well-equipped libraries. He was so kind.

Conducting seminars and running workshops on current affairs. Sometimes in the second half of 2001, I was approached by Alhaji Ishaq Ambali, Alhaji Ishaq Musa, and Alhaji Abdul Wahab Akanbi, all of the World Assembly of Muslim Youths (WAMY) Nigeria Office, regards the continuation of the conduct of Jumaat services at Plot 460, Adeniyi Jones Avenue, Ikeja when it would have been vacated by WAMY and

seized to be its Nigeria Office. Coincidently, I was also nursing the idea of setting up an Islamic Centre in Ikeja, Lagos as there was none. We all agreed to work together on the condition that they would accept my principles of the establishment of an Islamic Centre. This is the beginning of the success story of Glorious Islamic Centre. At this stage, I must mention the role played by our Landlord and a friend, late Alhaji Nasiru may Allah show him mercy. He agreed that I would take over the tenancy from WAMY at a much reduced rate when he knew of my intention. Glorious Islamic Centre had its first Constitution on the 23rd March, 2003 with Engr. Akin Laguda, President and Alhaji Ishaq Ambali as Missioner/Secretary, Mr. Hussein Abu Bakr served as a treasurer. It was issued a certificate of Incorporation of the Incorporated Trustees by the Corporate Affairs Commission, Federal Republic of Nigeria on the 22nd September, 2005 with Engr. Akin Laguda, Alhaji Ishaq Ambali, Alhaji Ishaq Musa, Alhaji Rafi Tunde Olagunju, Dr. Tunde Davies, Mr. Folorunso Olaleye and Alhaji Rasheed Sufianu as duly appointed registered Trustees.
