[13]When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”
[14]“Well,” they replied, “some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.”
[15]Then he asked them, “But who do you say I am?”
[16]Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
[17]Jesus replied, “You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being. (NLT).
*DEDUCTIONS:*
*The Sonship of Jesus is the bed rock of Christianity.*
Only those who believe and confess Him as the Son of God and as their Lord and Savior are saved, and not those who continue to hide under the umbrella of religion in any form.

*DEDUCTIONS:*
With Jesus Christ as the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, we are complete in Him.
So, we have no need for the mediation of angels or "saints" and no reinforcement from councils or popes is required.
*Everything to sustain us is in the gospel package and Jesus Christ is the gospel.*
*POINT OF EMPHASIS:* Jesus is the beginning of all beings.
*PRAYER POINTS:* Jesus, create a new beginning of goodies in me.
