*TOPIC: CONTINUITY WITH GOD BY DAILY OBEDIENCE*

TEXT: Romans 12:7:8; Matthew 13:3-6; Titus 2:11,12; Matthew 13:7-9

The enemy always wants us to think walking with God is a complicated process. When it comes to walking with God, there is simplicity, but only in daily obedience.

As important as it is to begin a process, God is all about finishing by continuity.
The parable of the sower showcases the process of our life from when we first gave our lives to Christ till the very end.

A life that is grounded is one with conviction. If there is no root in us, falling away is inevitable.
Many people have no roots. They come to church out of compulsion and serve God by necessity. Some are Christians because that is what they have been taught from childhood.

God wants us to be rooted so that we can continue and be accomplished.
If your heart is still stony, God wants us to repent.
If it were only you God gave faith, would you thrive?

Christ came with grace and truth. You can not be rooted in Christ until you tell yourself the truth.
Stop deceiving yourself.
You can have faith without being rooted. If you are not rooted, your faith can be taken away from you.

Pressure can steal one's faith. These are the thorns the Bible describes in Matt 13:7.
Modern responsibilities can also make you too busy for God. The devil might not tell you to leave God, but he will give you things and worries to occupy you.
The thorns and cares of this world can lead us to compromise our relationships, appointments, and consecration to God.
Being rooted requires daily obedience, and distraction kills consistency. But this should not be so.

A life of continuity is the life of daily obedience.
If your heart is dedicated to God’s presence, you can surpass your seniors in the spirit.
Grace is not by the length of days but by continued obedience. Overtaking is allowed.
Continuity requires daily instant obedience.

*TOPIC: ORGANIC FAITH FOR THE PERILOUS TIME*
TEXT: Hebrews 11:6

Some people are not diligent in seeking God. They only read their Bible when they come to church.
At this time, we need individualistic faith.
If God does not deal with individuals, Christ would not have left the 99 to save the 1.

Some of us only limit faith to monetary requests or needs, but faith goes beyond finance.
Faith is a combination of our daily walk with God.
It takes faith for you to live a life of integrity. It takes faith for you to be patient. It takes faith for you to grow. It takes faith for you to be special.
In every area of your life as a believer, faith is required.

Many people in Nigeria have faith because of the living conditions. You need faith to get by a lot of things. But when some of these people get to the Western world, they start chasing money and survival.
They take shifts on Sunday for the money, and soon the devil steals their prayer life and relationship with God.
We must not fall for the deception of the devil.

Faith is a locomotive that keeps us in line with God.
It moves us from disbelief to belief. There is no room for limitation in faith.
Without faith, you will play religion in hypocrisy.
This is what happened to Judas Iscariot. He was zealous in making money but zero in ministry.
The devil was able to use Judas because he lacked faith.

Judas sold his Master for money, and many of us have done the same. We have sold Jesus for money.
You might ask yourself, "How?"
If God gives you a time to meet with Him and you decide to trade that time to attend to business, then you have sold Him for money.
Those who are rooted in faith are men and women who are submitted to the instruction of God.

*FAITH*

*F - Father*
Galatians 4:6

If you know you have God as a Father, you will not be swayed. You will have full assurance.
If your earthly father has a company, you will know that you have an inheritance in it.
We are God's heritage, and we have sonship in Him. We have legal grounds for the things He has, and because of this, we have faith in Him.

*A - Assurance*
Hebrews 6:11

We have assurance of hope because we have a Father in heaven.
To have faith in someone is to have an unmovable mind towards the person in such a way that your perception cannot be changed, no matter what contrary info you hear about the person. This is how our faith in God should be.

*I - Inheritance*
Revelations 5:12

We are called to inherit the seven Spirits of God.
We were not called to inherit sickness and poverty.
The purpose of our inheritance, as seen in the book of Revelations, is:
β€’ Power
β€’ Riches
β€’ Wisdom
β€’ Strength
β€’ Honour
β€’ Glory
β€’ Blessing

*T - Teachable*
Proverbs 9:9

We must be teachable as the church of God.
When instruction is given to a wise brother, sister, or church, they will be wiser.
We must increase in learning of the knowledge of God.

*H - Holiness*
1 Thessalonians 4:7

Holiness cannot be outsmarted or underestimated.
Holiness remains God’s standard.
Holiness is all God has called us to hold unto.

*HAPPY NEW MONTH, JESUS CARE FAMILY*πŸ€πŸ’œπŸ’›

It is the month of *May,*
*OUR MONTH OF PROVIDENCE*

*Psalm 132:15 KJV*
[15] I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.

Enjoy the Providence of the Lord.

Some of us demote ourselves from son to servant every time we open our mouths in prayer.

Is God really your Father?

Because if God is really your Father, you will ask like a child and not a stranger.

Why are you asking God for things as if you are not an heir?

Imagine your Father being extremely wealthy, and you trying to be modest by only asking for the insignificant when you know He can give you anything. I mean anything.

Trying to be modest before God is almost like an insult. In fact, it is indeed an insult to His capacity.

Some people are not even modest. They are scared to ask for certain things altogether because they feel they don't deserve it, or because it seems impossible.

Doubt is a mindset problem.

So what is your mindset towards God? Are you working based on the belief of "do just enough and somehow you will receive a just reward for your effort from God?" Or are you working by the Word of God that says "ask and you shall receive?"

Explore Luke 11:9-13 to understand the heart of the Father towards His children.

You don't have to complete a task before you qualify for your daily bread in your Father's house. You don't earn it. You receive it because you belong to Him.

So why do you treat God like you are in a transactional relationship with Him? Do you really see God as your Father? Because if you do, all you need to do is ask.

"If I ask, I will receive" and I ask not because I am worthy, but because I am His child.

That mindset doesn't just change how you ask. It changes what you ask for.

Your mindset towards God influences your faith, and your faith determines how much you can draw from the storehouse of your Father.

When dealing with those who asked in the scriptures, Jesus would respond with "be it unto you according to your faith."

*Matthew 8:13 KJV*
[13] And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

Your mindset determines your answer to prayer because you will always ask according to your faith. And God will only act in accordance with the depth of your request.

If your faith is small, your answer will be small. But if your faith is full, you will be answered according to the fullness of your faith.

God's resources are not limited. Your faith is.
Because with God, there is no "impossible" answer.

So before you blame God for your present reality, work on your mindset first.

It all starts with how your mind is positioned towards God.

Your mindset towards God determines what you ask for, how you ask, and what you receive.

If you want a better reality, ask and allow the Holy Spirit to work on your mindset.

If you are still thinking of how to manage that special someone whom you know can sabotage your walk with God, this is your sign to let go.

Let go and let God!

Most believers brag about their past commitment to God, and this should not be so.
It is your present you that gives you access to the king. God relates to who we are now, not who we used to be. Our present spiritual condition determines our access to God's presence and power.
No one will get to heaven based on their past but by their present walk with God.
