*TOPIC: CONTINUITY WITH GOD BY DAILY OBEDIENCE*
TEXT: Romans 12:7:8; Matthew 13:3-6; Titus 2:11,12; Matthew 13:7-9
The enemy always wants us to think walking with God is a complicated process. When it comes to walking with God, there is simplicity, but only in daily obedience.
As important as it is to begin a process, God is all about finishing by continuity.
The parable of the sower showcases the process of our life from when we first gave our lives to Christ till the very end.
A life that is grounded is one with conviction. If there is no root in us, falling away is inevitable.
Many people have no roots. They come to church out of compulsion and serve God by necessity. Some are Christians because that is what they have been taught from childhood.
God wants us to be rooted so that we can continue and be accomplished.
If your heart is still stony, God wants us to repent.
If it were only you God gave faith, would you thrive?
Christ came with grace and truth. You can not be rooted in Christ until you tell yourself the truth.
Stop deceiving yourself.
You can have faith without being rooted. If you are not rooted, your faith can be taken away from you.
Pressure can steal one's faith. These are the thorns the Bible describes in Matt 13:7.
Modern responsibilities can also make you too busy for God. The devil might not tell you to leave God, but he will give you things and worries to occupy you.
The thorns and cares of this world can lead us to compromise our relationships, appointments, and consecration to God.
Being rooted requires daily obedience, and distraction kills consistency. But this should not be so.
A life of continuity is the life of daily obedience.
If your heart is dedicated to Godβs presence, you can surpass your seniors in the spirit.
Grace is not by the length of days but by continued obedience. Overtaking is allowed.
Continuity requires daily instant obedience.
