Three Powerful Days.

For three days we were charged, equipped, and redirected!
We learnt that one choice can change a generation. One decision can rewrite your story.
God is raising a generation in Igbore that will CHOOSE Him and DECIDE for purpose.

THE POWERS CONFRONTING THE CHURCH

1. The power of satan and his cohorts. In 1 Chronicles 21:1 Satan stood up against Israel, and moved David to number Israel; so Satan is fighting the church of God. He wanted them to do things contrary to the will of God. (Zec. 3:1; Job 2:7; 1 Thess 2:18; 1 Tim 5:15).

a. We can overcome satan by rebuking him. (Matt. 4:10; Jam 4:7).

b. By handling him unto God to crush him for us. (Rom. 16:20).

c. We must not be ignorant of his devices. (2 Cor. 2:11).

2. Carnality. The purpose of God establishing the church is to make it a spiritual home where children of God can grow spiritually. (Rom. 1:11; 1 Cor. 10:3-4; 1 Pet. 2:5). But we discover carnality is suppressing spirituality in the church; hence there are immorality, corruption, tribalism, disunity and many more in the church. (1 Cor. 3:3-4; 1 Cor. 1:11-12).

3. Worldly last. Some denominations are pursuing things of the world materialism, position, and worldly prosperity without considering heaven our eternal home. (Rom 12:2, Jas 4-4, 1Joh 2:15)

4. Sia. The thing that separated us from God from the beginning is sin (Gen. 3:23). The church is battling with sin. David said if I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me. Sin is a perversion (Rom. 5:12: Jas 1:14, 15).

5. Principalities and powers. (Eph. 6:12). For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places

6. The wicked spirits-Who continually oppose faith, love, holiness, either by force or fraud; and labour to infuse unbelief, pride, idolatry malice, envy, anger, hatred etc. into Christians life. (Eph. 2:2).

7. Fake ministers. False prophets and prophecy, fake apostles, fake evangelists, pastors in wolf clothing, heretical teachers etc. are now in the church of God. (Jer. 29:8; Mt. 24.4-5). They are confronting those who are faithful and truthful ministers

8 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death (Cor. 15:26,21mm. 1:10. Rev 20:14)

There shall be rest of mind: The Israelites were given rest- (Jos. 21:44); David was given rest round about after he had fought the battle (2 Sam 7:1). Jehoshaphat "So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet: for his God gave him rest roundabout" (2 Chr. 20:30).

There shall be prosperity or blessings in abundance: Solomon was blessed but he fought the battle. (1 Kgs 2:45; 1 Kgs 4:21-34).

One will live life of victory: "For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. (1 Joh. 5:4).

There will be power to dominate: death, sickness, sin and flesh. (Isa. 25:8, 1 Cor. 15:54-55.) Then we can say: But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Cor. 15:57).
