“THE YOUTHS ARE THE HOPE OF THE CHURCH."

In our special anniversary interview with the Lord Bishop, Diocese of Lagos West, The Rt. Rev’d Dr. James Olusola Odedeji, he expressed his joy at seeing the youths becoming increasingly alive to their responsibilities in the Church.

He reminded us that the future of the Church is in the hands of the youths. Those who started the Church have gone on, and those presently carrying the mantle will, in time, also pass it on.

For this reason, he emphasized the need for the Church and her clergymen to accommodate, encourage and create space for the youths to thrive, serve and take up their responsibilities.

The message is clear: when the youths are actively involved, the Church has a future.

As we celebrate 60 years of God’s faithfulness, may we continue to raise and empower a generation that will carry the Gospel forward.

60 YEARS OF PRAISE, WORSHIP & ADORATION 🙏🏽✨

TE DEUM / AWA YIN Ọ — a timeless expression of our praise, worship and adoration of God the Father in His Awesomeness.

As we celebrate 60 Years of God’s Faithfulness at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Mafoluku, we are reminded that our journey has always been anchored in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Awa Yin Ọ magnifies the saving grace of God the Son and celebrates the fellowship of God the Holy Spirit, while Te Deum points our hearts to the glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Judge of the world, whose mercy we continually seek for the salvation of our souls.

It is also a beautiful reaffirmation of our total surrender to Jesus Christ, trusting in His mercy and committing the years ahead into His hands.

And as Te Deum concludes:

"Lord, in You we trust. May we never be confounded.”

For 60 years, God has been faithful.
For 60 years, His mercy has sustained us.
For 60 years, His name has been glorified.

Today, we lift our voices once again:

May we never be confounded, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

What a glorious start to our 60th Anniversary Celebration as we gathered in God’s presence for Revival Day 1.

We lifted our voices in heartfelt praise, danced with joy, prayed fervently, and took time to honour and remember our founding fathers whose faith, sacrifice, and commitment laid the foundation for what God is doing today.
