*TOPIC: THE POWER OF A CLEAN HEART*
_*“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” Matthew 5:8.*_
*MESSAGE*
God is more concerned with the state of the heart than outward appearance. Men may look at actions, words, gifts, and religious activities, but God looks at the heart. A clean heart attracts divine presence, while hidden sin weakens spiritual authority and hinders growth. The believer must understand that purity is not optional in the walk with God. A heart that is polluted by pride, lust, bitterness, deceit, or secret compromise will struggle to enjoy deep fellowship with the Lord.
Purity requires daily examination. David prayed, “Create in me a clean heart, O God,” because he understood that the heart can drift and become corrupted if it is not watched. The heart must be guarded with all diligence, because out of it flow the issues of life. A guarded heart protects destiny. It keeps the believer sensitive to the Holy Spirit, responsive to correction, and aligned with the will of God. When the heart is clean, the conscience is clear, and the soul is free before God.
A clean heart will also reflect in speech, conduct, relationships, and decisions. Integrity is not selective; it must be consistent. Those who value purity walk carefully before God and before men. The reward of purity is intimacy with God, clarity of direction, and deeper sensitivity to His voice. Therefore, bring your heart before the Lord in sincerity. Ask Him to cleanse every hidden fault, purify every motive, and make your life pleasing in His sight.
