You are not called to be just a church member, you are called to be a vessel of impact in God’s house. Every department in the church is an opportunity to serve, grow, and express the grace God has deposited in you.

“What do you bring to the table?” is a question every believer must answer. Your gifts, your time, your passion, and your willingness are all needed in the body of Christ. *“As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another…” (1 Peter 4:10).*

Don’t sit and watch function. Join a department, commit to service, and allow God to use you. The church is not complete without your contribution. When you serve, you don’t just fill a space you fulfill purpose.

Then Peter said to them; "repent and let every one of you be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins: and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Lessons

1. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is not a new testament idea. It was spoken by the prophets in the Old Testament, John the Baptist and Jesus, and fulfilled on the day of pentecost.

2. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is not an experience for only ministers or selected few. It is meant for all believers.

3. Baptism of the Spirit is a definite experience different from Salvation. However, the Holy Spirir is involved in the salvation experience.

4. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift, not an experience earned by works. It is not a reward.

5. Method to receive the baptism of the Spirit.:
A. Prayer to God for the experience (Luke 11:9-13)
B.Laying of hands from anointed vessels
C.Hearing the word preached by an anointed minister

6. The process or receiving the baptism of the spirit:
A. Repent and confess your sins
B.Hunger for this experience
C.Waiting in God through prayers

Today we celebrate the priceless gift of mothers, women of strength, sacrifice, love, and faith. A mother’s love reflects the very heart of God: patient, nurturing, and enduring.

*The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 31:28:*
*"Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her."*

Mothers are God’s instruments for shaping lives, building homes, and nurturing destinies. Through their prayers, guidance, and sacrifices, generations are raised to walk in righteousness.

Just like Hannah prayed faithfully for a child and dedicated him to God, and Mary carried the divine purpose of bringing Jesus into the world, mothers today continue to carry divine assignments in their homes and families.

*The scripture says in Proverbs 31:25:*
*"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come."*

Today we honour every mother of GloryHouse for her strength in difficult times, her prayers in silent moments, and her love that never fails. May God continue to bless, strengthen, and reward every mother for the seeds of love and faith they have planted.
