*📜WE'VE GOT SOMETHING BETTER*

*Sunday, October 4th*
*Pastor Chris*

_*📖But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).*_

When you read about the men and women of faith in the Old Testament, it's impossible not to be inspired by their extraordinary feats of faith and experiences with God. Take Caleb, for example. He declared at eighty-five years of age, _*"As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me..."*_ (Joshua 14:11).

Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he departed this world, yet the Bible says, _*"…his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated"*_ (Deuteronomy 34:7). These were remarkable manifestations of God's power under the Old Covenant. But as wonderful as those accounts are, we have something better. We have the Holy Spirit living in us.

We have eternal life at work in us. We have the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus operating in every fibre of our being. This is the consciousness with which you're to live. Refuse to evaluate yourself on the basis of natural circumstances, age or human limitations. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11). He rejuvenates and vitalises your body.

Don't adopt or accept the world's opinion and expectation that as you grow in years, there’s sure to be a decline in your strength, health and vigour. No! In Christ, we have agelessness. You’re forever in health, in shape and in vitality because you have the life and nature of God.

Eternal life is at work in every fibre of your being. The law of the Spirit of life is working in your bones, your tendons, your ligaments, and every cell and organ of your body. Affirm these truths about your life and walk in the consciousness of the divine life in you. Your strength is continually renewed by the Holy Spirit in you, enabling you to run and not be weary, to walk and not faint. That's your present-hour reality in Christ.

*🙏PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the life of Christ that is at work in me. I live by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, and I walk in the consciousness of your divine life in every fibre of my being. My strength is renewed continually, and I function in health, vitality, strength and excellence by the power of the Holy Spirit who lives in me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*📜BORNE ON EAGLES' WINGS*

*Saturday, October 3rd*
*Pastor Chris*

_*📖As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings (Deuteronomy 32:11).*_

This is a most beautiful description of God's dealings with His people. The Lord likens Himself to an eagle caring for its young. The eagle doesn't merely watch from a distance; it actively trains, guides, protects, and carries its young until they become strong enough to soar.

The eagle stirs up its nest, fluttering over its young and spreading its wings beneath them. This illustrates how God works in our lives. He doesn't leave us to struggle alone or figure things out by ourselves. He guides us through His Word, strengthens us by His Spirit, and leads us in the path of His perfect will. Even when circumstances seem challenging, He's at work, preparing you for greater heights and greater victories.

When the children of Israel came out of Egypt, the Lord reminded them, _*"Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings..."*_ (Exodus 19:4). He wanted them to recognise that their preservation, progress and success were not the result of human wisdom or strength. He carried them. He sustained them. He was their way in the wilderness.

The same is true in your life today. You're not to depend solely on your own ability, intelligence or resources. The Lord is your strength. He’s your wisdom. He’s your sufficiency. He upholds you, directs your steps, and causes you to triumph. He knows every challenge you'll ever face, and He's already made you a victor.

Therefore, refuse to be overwhelmed by the pressures or uncertainties of life. He’s your ever-present help in times of need; He bears you up. He’s able to keep you, strengthen you, and bring you into the fulfilment of His purpose for your life. Maintain this consciousness every day.

The Lord is actively involved in your success. He's guiding you by His Spirit to rise above limitations, obstacles, and adversities. Like the eagle that soars high above the storm, you're called to live above the circumstances of this world, sustained by the power and grace of God. Hallelujah!

*🙏PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for your unfailing love, guidance and strength in my life. I trust completely in your ability to lead, sustain and uphold me. I walk in confidence, knowing that you direct my steps and cause me to rise above every limitation and challenge. Your wisdom and power are at work in me today, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*📜HE BROUGHT US UNTO HIMSELF*

*Friday, October 2nd*
*Pastor Chris*

_*📖Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself (Exodus 19:4).*_

When God delivered the children of Israel from Egypt, His purpose was greater than rescuing them from oppression. Deliverance was only the beginning. His ultimate desire was revealed in His words as read in our opening scripture: He bore them on eagles' wings, and brought them unto Himself. He didn't merely bring them out of Egypt.

This reveals the heart of God. His goal has always been fellowship, relationship with man. He wanted a people who would belong to Him, walk with Him and live in the consciousness of His love and purpose. That's why He went on to say in the ensuing verses: _*"…then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation...”*_ (Exodus 19:5-6). They were chosen, separated, and set apart for Him.

What God foreshadowed in Israel has found its greater fulfilment in Christ and the Church! Through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, you've been brought into an inseparable union with God. You're not separated from Him, trying to find your way into His presence. You've been joined unto the Lord and made one spirit with Him: _*“But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit”*_ (1 Corinthians 6:17).

The Apostle Peter echoed the same words God spoke to Moses when he declared that you're _*"...a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people..."*_ (1 Peter 2:9). To Israel, it was preconditioned on their obedience to the Law, but for us, it’s a promise fulfilled, our inheritance in Christ.

We’re His peculiar treasure, inseparably one with Him. You're not an ordinary person struggling through life alone. You’re in Him, and He’s in you. He brought you out of darkness into His marvellous light, into a life of glory, excellence and divine purpose. You're borne by His power, guided by His wisdom and established in His blessings. Walk in the confidence, dignity and purpose of one who belongs to Christ, the King, and has been set apart for His glory. Hallelujah!

*🙏PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for bringing me into an inseparable union with you. I rejoice in the knowledge that I am your peculiar treasure, holy and sanctified. I walk in the consciousness of my oneness with you, and I fulfil your purpose for my life with boldness and joy, in Jesus' Name. Amen.*

*📜JUSTIFICATION BY FAITH*

*Wednesday, September 30th*
*Pastor Chris*

_*📖Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1).*_

One of the great blessings of the New Testament is our justification by faith. Under the Old Testament, they sought justification through the Law, but they didn’t get it. The Law could reveal sin, but it couldn’t justify man. But in the New Testament, we have been justified by the faith of Jesus Christ. What does it mean to be justified?

It means acquittal, to be declared not guilty. In Christ Jesus, God declares you not guilty. You might ask, “But what happened to the offences or the sins I committed?” The answer is in the Scriptures. Romans 4:24-25 says the Lord Jesus was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. He who knew no sin was made sin for us: _*“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him”*_ (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Jesus took our place. He bore the judgment that was against us. Every charge that stood against humanity was laid on Him. But blessed be God, that wasn’t the end of the story. The Bible says He was raised again for our justification. His resurrection was the declaration that the demands of justice had been fully satisfied.

God raised Him from the dead because the price had been paid in full. Our justification had been secured. This is why the Christian doesn’t struggle to attain righteousness through personal efforts or works of the Law. Righteousness has been granted to us in Christ Jesus. Now, we have peace with God. We’re at one with Him.

No wonder the Bible says, _*“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus...”*_ (Romans 8:1 NKJV). There’s no more separation, no more condemnation, no more uncertainty about your standing before the Father. You’ve been accepted in Christ. This is the life of rest and confidence that the Gospel brings. You’ve been acquitted by God Himself. As far as He’s concerned, you never sinned.

Romans 3:21-26 (NIV) declares, _*“...the righteousness of God has been made known…This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe…and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus…He did this to demonstrate his righteousness…so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.”*_ Walk in the boldness, liberty, and joy of this reality. Refuse to live under guilt, accusation, or a sense of unworthiness. The Lord Jesus was delivered because of your offences and raised again for your justification. Glory to His Name forever!

*🙏PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the glorious reality of my justification by faith in Christ. I walk in the boldness, liberty and joy of the reality that I’ve been declared righteous and accepted in Christ Jesus. Thank you for the blessedness of my righteousness and right-standing with you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*FURTHER STUDY📖=>* *||* *‭‭Romans 4:24-25 KJV But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; [25] Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.* *||*

*📜HE NEVER LEAVES YOU*

*Tuesday, September 29th*
*Pastor Chris*

_*📖And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever (John 14:16).*_

In the New Testament, we don’t ask the Lord to be with us, or pray and fast so He never leaves us. We know He’s with us and in us because He said so. Christianity is the living reality of Christ in you and with you always, not sometimes or only when you feel spiritual, but always.

Many try to judge God’s presence by their emotions. They say, “I feel like God is with me,” or “I don’t feel His presence anymore.” But your feelings don’t determine His presence; His Word does. He said, _*“…I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen”*_ (Matthew 28:20 NKJV). When He said this to His disciples, they hadn’t been born again.

Today, the Holy Spirit isn’t just with you but in you always—when you feel it and when you don’t. The Lord Jesus said, _*“…he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you”*_ (John 14:17). Now that you’re born again and have received the Holy Spirit, you’ve become inseparably one with Him, mingled with Him in oneness: _*“But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit”*_ (1 Corinthians 6:17).

Therefore, His presence isn’t sustained by your emotions; it’s established by His truth. Being ignorant of this is the reason some have taught that when a Christian sins, fellowship with God is broken and the Holy Spirit withdraws from that person until repentance is made. But think about it: if the Holy Spirit truly left you, how would you ever come back? Who would guide and restore you?

The very fact that a Christian is corrected by the Holy Spirit and guided back into the light of God’s Word proves that the Holy Spirit never departed. This doesn’t mean sin is permissible; rather, it means the Holy Spirit doesn’t abandon God’s children. The Lord Jesus didn’t say He would be with you only when you “perform” right. That’s the power and glory of the New Testament relationship we have with the Father.

The Holy Spirit is your ever-present helper, teacher, guide and comforter. Without Him, you can’t live the true Christian life. He’s the One who causes the Word to come alive in your spirit and helps you walk in righteousness. Therefore, cultivate the consciousness of His constant presence in you and with you. Walk every day with the assurance that you’re never alone. Praise God!

*🙏PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for the blessed Holy Spirit who lives in me and abides with me forever. I walk in the consciousness of His indwelling presence, yielded to His guidance and His wisdom that mantles my heart. I’m guided, strengthened, corrected and empowered by the Spirit to live triumphantly today, bringing glory to you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

📜KNOW THE GOSPEL MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE

Monday, September 28th
Pastor Chris

📖For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth…(Romans 1:16).

As a Christian, if there’s anything you must know in this world, it’s the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There’s no knowledge more important, more transformative, or more eternal than the Gospel. It’s the message of life, the revelation of God’s righteousness, and the unveiling of His salvation for all mankind.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is much more than information to be memorised or doctrines to be explained. The Gospel is life. It’s the Word of God concerning Jesus Christ—who He is, and His mission— what He came to do. If your life is inconsistent with the provisions of Christ in His Gospel, then you haven’t really understood the Gospel.

True understanding of the Gospel will cause you to live in and experience the full blessings thereof. The more you understand the Gospel, the more you become its manifestation. Your life will express Christ naturally and effortlessly. Your words, your thoughts, your responses, and your conduct will be aligned with the message of Christ because the Gospel has been inculcated into your spirit and into your consciousness.

It’s like what the Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 3:2, “Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men.” Your life becomes a living letter; men will read Christ through you. They’ll see the reality of the Gospel in your character, in your love, in your faith, and in the excellence of your walk with God.

This is the result of giving yourself wholly to the Gospel; every fibre of your being becomes synchronized with its message and you speak out of that abundance. So, know the Gospel more than anything else in life, for it’s the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16).

🙏PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for granting me understanding of the Gospel to experience its transformative power in my life. My whole being is inundated with the truths of the Gospel, and my life is the living expression of Christ. My words, thoughts and actions are in sync with your divine will, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY📖=> || ‭‭2 Corinthians 3:2-3 KJV Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: [3] Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. ||

|| ‭‭Philippians 1:27 KJV Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; ||

|| ‭‭1 Corinthians 9:16 KJV For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! ||

*📜THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS*

*Saturday, September 26th*
*Pastor Chris*

_*📖For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Corinthians 5:21).*_

In Romans 5:1, we read something absolutely profound that also parallels what we read in our theme scripture. It says, _*“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”*_ Being justified by faith means we’ve been declared righteous by faith. Therefore, you must affirm and live in the consciousness of that righteousness.

Every so often, declare, “In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I am righteous with the righteousness of Christ.” If you don’t do that, you may struggle endlessly, trying to attain by works what God already gave you as a gift. Many live this way without realizing it. On days when they think they’ve behaved well or done nothing wrong, they feel more confident that God will hear their prayers.

But that’s a dangerous mindset because it means basing your confidence or approval with God on personal performance rather than on the finished redemptive work of Christ. God never asked you to establish your own righteousness. The Bible says Jesus was made sin for us so that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

Some even think humility means constantly denouncing themselves before God, making statements such as, “Lord, I’m nothing; we’re all so unworthy and unrighteous before you.” But that’s not what God wants. He doesn’t delight in your self-denunciation, self-condemnation or self-recrimination. One was already condemned and crucified for you, and His Name is Jesus; He took your place.

Acts 13:38-39 (NKJV) tells us, _*“Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.”*_ What God wants is for you to believe in and live according to what Christ accomplished in your behalf. The Apostle Paul says, _*“...if one died for all, then were all dead”*_ (2 Corinthians 5:14). He died that you might live.

Now, you live for Him, in glory and in righteousness, effortlessly pleasing Him. This is the Christian life: it’s not about struggling to impress God through human effort; it’s about responding to His love by walking in His Word. The more you affirm who you are in Christ, the more that reality dominates your life. Therefore, think and speak righteousness. Live in the consciousness of your justification and right-standing with God.

*🙏PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for making me the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I live in the consciousness of my right-standing with you and walk in the light of your Word today. My life is a manifestation of your grace, love, and righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

*📜MAINTAIN SPIRITUAL FOCUS*

*Friday, September 25th*
*Pastor Chris*

_*📖Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee (Isaiah 26:3).*_

Focus is the concentration of attention, energy, and vision on something. When God tells you to focus, He wants you to be undistracted. One of Satan’s strategies against God’s people is distraction. He seeks to shift your attention away from the eternal realities of God’s Kingdom to circumstances, fears, pressures, and the transient things of life. But we’re not ignorant of his devices.

The Psalmist said, _*“The godless spread lies about me, but I focus my attention on what you’re saying”*_ (Psalm 119:69 MSG). What a mindset! In the midst of opposition, accusations, and distractions, he fixed his attention on the Word. That’s the secret of spiritual stability and progress. When your attention is focused on God’s Word, your spirit remains aligned with truth, victory, and divine direction.

The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 4:18 to look not at the things which are seen but at the things which are unseen. The unseen realm is real, and God’s Word unveils its realities to us. Your physical senses may not perceive them, but your spirit can. Therefore, set your heart and affection on eternal things.

Proverbs 4:25-27 says, _*“Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee....Turn not to the right hand nor to the left....”*_ In other words, maintain focus. TheApostle Paul exemplified this mindset when he said, _*“...one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before”*_ (Philippians 3:13). He understood the power of focused vision.

A double-minded man, the Bible says, is unstable in all his ways and unable to receive anything from God (James 1:8). Instability produces weakness and inconsistency, but focus produces strength, clarity and victory. So, live with steadfastness of mind. Run your race with purpose: _*“So I run straight to the goal with purpose in every step. I fight to win. I’m not just shadow-boxing or playing around”*_ (1 Corinthians 9:26 TLB).

Stay spiritually focused on the Lord, on His Word, and on the eternal crown set before you. As you do, He’ll keep you in perfect peace, strength, unwavering prosperity and victory. Hallelujah!

*🙏PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for your Word that guides and establishes my heart in truth. My mind is steadfast and focused on your eternal realities. I refuse distractions, instability and double-mindedness; rather, I walk with clarity, purpose and unwavering confidence, fulfilling your destiny for my life in joy, victory and peace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*
