April Members’ Assembly: Finance MasterClass & Beyond JAMB Session

Today’s Members’ Assembly was both impactful and inspiring, combining academic guidance with financial empowerment. The highlight for our UTME candidates was the Beyond JAMB Session, where our Branch Chairman, an experienced Educational Consultant, broke down post-UTME strategies, course selection tips, and admission guidelines needed to excel beyond JAMB.

Running alongside it was the Finance MasterClass, anchored by the 1st Vice Chairman, Brother Adebesin Ibrahim Bawa, who equipped members with practical knowledge on budgeting, savings, investment and building multiple income streams as students. The energy in the room showed how eager our young scholars are to win academically and financially.

A special moment came when we honoured our overall best JAMB candidate out of Eight that sat the exam, Sister AbdulMu'meen Nafisat with a total score of 230. In recognition of her outstanding performance, she was awarded an admission form to her University of Choice — a gesture to celebrate excellence and remove barriers on her journey to higher education. Her joy was contagious, and it reminded every other candidate that hard work truly pays off. The award reaffirms our commitment to not just mentor, but also support our members with tangible resources.

We were also privileged to host the ADS Branch Chairman and also the ADS Branch Secretary (Our Fmr. Chairman) whose presence lifted the atmosphere. They commended the candidates for their dedication, shared personal stories of resilience, and charged everyone to stay focused despite challenges. Their words of encouragement — “Your dreams are valid, and your future is worth the sacrifice” — left a lasting imprint on us all.

Today wasn’t just another assembly; it was a reminder that with the right knowledge, support, and encouragement, our members can go beyond limits. See you at May Members' Assembly. Till then, we say Maa Salaam!

Ansār-ud-deen Ijora Branch Celebrates Apapa-Iganmu LCDA Chairman with Birthday Gifts and Prayers🎁💚

Members of the Ansār-ud-deen Society of Nigeria, Ijora Branch under the leadership of Alhaji Jamiu Bello, on Wednesday 15th April, 2026 paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Apapa-Iganmu LCDA, Hon. Jimoh Olawale Saliu (Olugbani), to commemorate with him on the occasion of his birthday.

The delegation, led by the Branch Chairman, presented gift to Hon. Saliu in recognition of his support for the council and his contributions to the development of the Apapa-Iganmu community. During the visit, the group offered special prayers for the Chairman, asking for continued wisdom, good health, and divine guidance as he steers the affairs of the LCDA.

In his response, Hon. Jimoh Olawale Saliu expressed gratitude to the Ansār-ud-deen Ijora Branch for the kind gesture and spiritual support. He commended the Society for its role in promoting peace, education, and community development within the LCDA. The Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and pledged to sustain projects that directly impact residents across all wards.

The brief ceremony ended with group photographs and words of goodwill from both parties. The delegation included Alhaja Aishat Oluwanishola, Branch Chairperson; Alhaja Nihmotalahi Ajisafe-Ibrahim, Secretary WC; Ustadh Muh.Sodiq Laro, Ass. Sec. Mission Board and Brother Abdulazeez Alamu, ADYAN Chairman who also doubles as the Coordinator of the Youth Council of Apapa-Iganmu LCDA.

Alhamdulillah! Eid-ul Fitr greetings to all members of ADYAN and the entire Muslim Community! 🎉

As we celebrate the completion of Ramadan, let's reflect on this year's theme: "SIGNS OF THE END TIME". May we grasp the lessons and warnings, and strive to be among those who are prepared🕰️.

This Ramadan, we were reminded of the transient nature of life and the importance of accountability. Let's carry these reflections into our Eid celebrations and beyond. May Allah accept our fasts, prayers, and good deeds, and grant us the strength to be better in our worship and service to humanity 🙏.

Catch the motions from today's IFTAR/TAFSEER Session of ADYAN Ijora Branch at the residence of our vibrant 1st Assistant Secretary who also doubles as the Chairperson of 2026 Ramadan Committee, Sister Aaliyah.

The THEME of this year's edition of our Iftar/TAFSEER Session is tagged "Signs of the End Time" and topic treated at today's session, Disappearance of Modesty and Shame touched the essence of modesty, abiding by Islamic doctrines and commands and why being shy before Allah, people and against oneself will take one away from the ills of the end time.

The THEME of this year's edition of our Iftar/TAFSEER Session is "Signs of the End Time" and topic treated at today's session, Erosion of Trust and Honesty in Daily Life touched the essence of trust, fulfilling promise and being honest with others in the life of man and the repercussions of going against it in the hereafter.

REPORT SERIES FROM THE 1ST EDITION OF ADS IJORA HEALTH WALK/PRE-RAMADAN MEDICAL OUTREACH PROGRAMME

Pictures say it all from the First Series of the Ansār-ud-deen Society of Nigeria, ADS IJORA BRANCH Women Committee Health Walk/Pre-Ramadan Medical Outreach 2025.

The movement started with about 30 members and grown to over 80 from Alaba Bus Stop, area covering our Division 3 towards Mosafejo, Taxi Park where we've our Division 3 located then towards Round About to have our members from Orile Division join us towards Ijora 7Up then through the Ojora of Ijora Kingdom Palace and down to the Branch Secretariat at 12, Akorede Street, Badia-Ijora, Lagos.

During the movement, the members walked through Matiminu Street to pay courtesy visit to one of the aged founding members of the Society; Mama Adebiyi as she's fondly called. Mama showered prayers on the members with her neighbors and family extending financial support for the Health Movement.

The visit to the Ojora of Ijora Kingdom Palace and the Chief Imam of Ijora Central Mosque was another key agenda of the movement to establish the society's continuous efforts of propagating the course for the advancement of Islam and Communal Well-being through cooperative efforts and welfare services.

The movement ended at the Mosque Secretariat at Akorede Street where the Medical Outreach is being held for the members of the community for FREE. See information on the Outreach on the next episode of the report.
