You weren't saved to be in church alone, you were saved to be in Christ.
Going to church is important. But being in Christ is what validates it. Above every religious activity, attendance, service, ministry work, be in Christ first.
You can do all the right religious things and still be a stranger to Him if there's no real life exchanged between you and Him.
Being in Christ means something happened: you died, you rose, you're hidden in Him now (2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 2:20).
Church didn't do that. Christ did. Church is the fruit. Christ is the root.
