Yesterday, 28th May 2023 we celebrated the children of our parish on this year's children's Day celebration. They were all incharge of serving mass, singing and even officiating as ushers.

They completed the day's celebration with a mini after party immediately after the mass and I'm sure they all had fun.

We thank God for granting them the gift of life to witness another year. We pray that God's favour will continue to be upon them all. We equally pray for their parents that the joy these children have brought to their lives will never be cut short, Amen.

Today, we celebrate children's Day, not just in our parish or community but all over the world.

Children are God's own gifts to this world and as such, they should be cherished and loved dearly.

The youths from our parish went on a charity visitation to an orphanage home," the vine branches orphanage home" here in Itele and shared some gifts with them.
