First Bible Reading: Genesis 4:1-12; Deuteronomy 11:19.

Second Bible Reading: Rev. 14:1-15.

Topic: The kind of harvest God honours.

Preacher: Miss Favour Sunday.

* Harvest is gathering things planted. It can be physical or spiritual harvest.

* You don't give grudgingly and expect to be blessed.

* You are to give from your heart and generously.

* Children are not too small to give unto God.

* Teach your children how to give.

SINS OF CAIN

1. He gave unworthy sacrifice to God.

2. He disobeyed God.

3. He killed his brother.

* Cain actions earned him a curse from God.

* God honours harvest that comes from our heart.

BENEFITS

1. God recognizes you as His own.

2. God will always be there for you.

* We are God's planting to be harvested when the time is ripe.

First Bible Reading: Haggai 1:2-12.

Second Bible Reading: Revelation 2:1-7.

Topic: Divine intervention: Restorer of mission zeal.

Preacher: Pastor Chukwu Elekwa Orji

* To restore means to re-establish or to bring back into existence.

* Zeal is being devoted, passionate and eager.

* With divine intervention, God restores zeal and mission.

* Church can't expand without mission.

* We are at a point we need to be taken back into a place of zealousness for mission.

HOW GOD RESTORES ZEAL OF PEOPLE

1. God knows the situation of people; no matter what you are passing through, God knows.

2. God points the sin of the people to them; He does it with love.

* God does not rebuke us the way men do.

* There is need to live a righteous life at all times.

* God has standards that we must follow.

3. He points us to order and guide us on what to do and how to do them.

4. He releases His blessings upon obedient people.

* As you are working for yourself, work for God.

1. Oh God, restore my zeal for your work wherever I find myself.

2. Oh God, give your servants spiritual powers in Jesus name. Amen.

3. Oh God, fortify our ministers in Jesus name. Amen.

* Every human being expects blessings from God.

* God's blessings go with a condition - Obeying the word of God.

* Obeying God might be painful at times.

* It is possible to enjoy abundant wealth.

* There is a God who supplies our need.

* The economy can be manipulated to prevent you from serving God.

* The best time to serve God is always NOW.

* Never allow satan use hardship to make you deny God. In all season, hold on to God.

* You can be wealthy and still serve God.

PRAYERS

1. Every mark of rising and falling; poverty and lack, get out of my life and family in Jesus name. Amen.

October 2023: Month of Spiritual Power

Topic: Jesus Christ, our passover lamb.

* The world is ruled by power- spiritual, political, religious, economic powers etc.

* You need spiritual power as a Christian.

* A Christian without power is a risky Christian: Satan will make mess of you.

* A church whose pastor is the only one with spiritual power is a risky church; the goal is for every member to carry spiritual power.

* Until you carry power, Satan will not fear you.

* God does not waste time with unserious people.

* Don't be comfortable in an ugly situation.

* Whatever you like will follow you.

* People can be sad about God's visitation to you.

* Listening to divine instruction is a way to escape from destruction.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE PASSOVER

1. Shows our faithfulness to God.

2. Humility - You must be humble for God to lift you higher. Learn to say "I am sorry".

3. Sacrificial life of Jesus Christ - No sacrifice, no success.
