Today reminds us of a deep truth, Jesus paid the ultimate price for us.

He was beaten, mocked, and nailed to the cross, not because He was guilty, but because He loved us.

Isaiah 53:5 says: “He was wounded for our transgressions… and by His stripes we are healed.”

On the cross, Jesus took our pain, our sins, and our shame. He gave His life so we could have life. What a sacrifice… what a love.

As we remember His suffering today, let us not take His sacrifice for granted. Let us live a life that honours Him.

It was not just nails that held Him to the cross, it was love.

May His sacrifice never be in vain in our lives.
