ASK IN FAITH.

Dear beloved, have you stopped asking?

Delayed answers to requests or prayers still doesn't justify doubt arising in you. You must always remember that God is so mindful of you such that He has called you into His own glory.

Matthew 7:7 (Ask and it shall be given unto you, seek, and ye shall find, and knock it shall be made open unto you) is a golden rule. God our Father isn't into an hide and seek game with us rather, always available to take care of us. This means He has time for us all in all areas of our lives, to listen to us and do more than we ask according to His Will.

Now, our part is to ask in Faith. Phillipians 4:19 (and my God shall supply all you need according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus).

Meditate on His love for you and you'll see It is greater than your deepest needs. Why then will you ask and He won't give unto you? If He gave His only son for you, he would definitely make other things perfect for you.

Therefore, ask Him knowing you have received already. You don't have to bargain in your request. You have been given direct access. He who has conceived you in Love, will heed and answer all your supplications.
Asking in Faith strengthens your spirit when there is a delay because you believe you have received.

Ask with Faith and you shall be given.

Sorry for the long break.☺️

Let's continue from where we stop.

Knowing your body will give you the information you need to correct any errors you make. Now let’s move onto more serious matters - how to work on your voice.
For a singer, you should work on your vocal scales. Try a mid-range scale, then a low scale, before finally moving on to a high scale. Then you should repeat this pattern until your voice is relaxed.
After that, try progressively increasing the volume before progressively decreasing the volume. This will help expand your vocal range.

A Moment or A Lifetime?

Grabbed by my cloak,
Her voluptuous tongue spoke volumes.
'Lie with me', her pleading lyrics.
Then the bell rung!
'A moment or a lifetime?', it questioned.
Senses sharpened and legs quickened.
Willingly, I switched the devil's plan with a jail term.
Even as I was oblivious to the Almighty's plan.

May it not be heard
That out lyres produce rhythm to a strange god,
While we forsake The One who lords o'er all.
To pay obeisance to the image, we will not!
In the blazing furnace, we better rot!
The embrace of the Divine Being became our comfort
That fizzled out the flames of fire.

The beauty might be enticing,
The sweet fragrance enveloping.
Tit for tat; this or that.
Clear away the king's meat and fat
And prepare us the delicacy of the spirit.
For in no case will we pollute the temple
Nor be rebels.

*WHY WE GO TO CHURCH*

Scripturally speaking, the early church started after the pentecostal day. Peter preached with boldness and thousands of people believed and gave their lives to Jesus. People came together to fellowship with the LORD in prayer and word, and established a relationship with the Lord. (Acts 2:42; "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrines and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayer.")

The early church practiced a system of intimacy (Koinonia) with the LORD and brethren; they brought their resources to the feet of the Apostles to be used for God's work.

The main reason why God has made man in his own image is for fellowship and intimacy. That's why in the beginning when God created man, he would visit him in the cool of the day (Gen. 3:8).

Besides intimacy, the disciples were equipped for the mission; "...Go ye into the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). Many souls were won on the account of preaching the gospel accompanied with signs and wonders through their spiritual gifts (Acts 2:41). These reasons are inexhaustible.

However, reverse is the case this present era. Many people go to church only for exhaustible and wrong reasons. They see the church only as a solution centre, carrying their problems to church but not ready for intimacy with the Lord. Once the problem is solved, they run back to their old life styles. This accounts for tireless prayers that receive no answer still. God sees the intent of the heart.

Praying to the LORD during distress isn't wrong (James 5:12-15), but the priority should be on communication, relationship, fellowship and intimacy. I pray the Lord opens our eyes of understanding the more (AMEN).

*THE LORD'S DAY*

A tingle of elation in the bowels of my heart,
'Hustling and bustling' through it all,
But my heart beat pit-a-pat,
gravitated even at the mention of it.

The rigorous and cumbersome hours gobbled me up,
But a burdensome heart is a snare;
Nevertheless, not even the aurora of the day was ripped off.
Despair almost swallowed me,
A toothless lion tearing at me,
Fear creeps into my heart.
Lost in a rage to be restored of its exhilaration;
The charlatan almost swept me off my feet,
But calm breeze blew,
A mind at peace is a mind at rest.

And it came,
Trumpets blaring here and there,
Legs moving hither thither,
The angelic resplendent atmosphere.
With a heart saturated with gratitude,
The accuser skedaddled into his shell,
Oh! What a day of joy,
The bridegroom's day!

The Key of Honor

Honor, is an act of demonstrating high respect or great esteem for someone. It is a key of value which use is to access and secure the flow of annointing and grace from someone through the spirit realm.
By Honoring another, you are saying unto them that you see great value in them and such that is in them, will surely be bestowed upon you spiritually.

Honor isn't pride, but it is one of God's system. It is an eternal ordinance and He expects it to be ours also.
Wherever dishonor is, the availability of God's presence is barred. Let's also remind ourselves that honor starts with perception. Perception breeds honor.
At every level, we must be able to honor people for there is a reward for every lifestyle of honor.
Honor can be expressed in diverse ways ranging from speech, appearance to even posture.
Honor can be simply compared to the tool that can be used to receive blessings from those we reference. Lastly, in honoring through the act of spiritual perception, we begin to honor God through men and this is the will of God for us.
However, we must take note that our honor is only worth those in alignment with God and His word. We must be spiritually sensitive to give honor to only whom it's due.
Ask the Holy Spirit to grant you the understanding of honor today. Selah

SCORING A SONG
CNTD....

5. TRY TO SING WITHOUT LISTENING OR PLAYING THE SONG: This where you know whether you have been joking since you started scoring. Most of us tend to sing well with musical instrument but remove the beat, Theyfromand Wack. My dear sing the song without playing it. Where you make mistake play the song and correct yourself.

6. OWN THE SONG: I stated earlier that scoring a song means you are now the owner, music producer, singer, etc. If you can make the song yours, then you can take it to any level.

With these Few tips you can score a song without fears.
COVER A SONG

#1 – Pick the right song, then add your own creative touch
This may seem like a no-brainer, but the wrong track or a lack of originality will discourage viewers from returning to your Social media channels. Ideally, you should choose a song that brings out your biggest strengths as a musician and has a decent amount of search traffic. While a deep dive into your favorite artist’s body of work is ideal for super fans, it won’t necessarily generate clicks or help you go viral.
On the flip side, if today’s most popular social media sensations have all covered a song you love, make sure your contribution adds to the “dialogue.” Do you have a truly unique take? Go for it! But if not, seek out a song that still has some room for a fresh interpretation
Step Outside of Your Comfort Zone

Just because you play one style of music, doesn’t mean that you can’t explore hits from genres far from your own. In fact, it’s been through experimenting with other styles, historically, that whole new genres of music have been produced. When you place limits on the types of songs you’ll play, you have the possibility of limiting the audience in which you are playing for. And, you place limits on yourself as an artist. Try something new every once in a while, musically, and watch yourself grow as an artist.

THE GOOD THINGS OF THE LORD
David the psalmist was explaining the provision of the good things for they that trust in HIM; he said " The young lion do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing". However, it seems many believers have given 'this' a stereotyped meaning.
Many Christians of this generation only consider the luxury things of the world such as cars, houses, job opportunities, promotion at work e.t.c. as the only good things of the LORD. This has also gone a long way to influence most of our testimonies in the house of the LORD. Celebration of material things seems so dear to us that we tend to leave out the things pertaining to the kingdom of God and it's righteousness(Christocentric).
Is this against celebrating our success as christians? No, but we should take note that the good things of the LORD aren't materialistic and luxurious only.
Based on the book of 2nd Corinthians (11:23-28), Paul spoke about his agonizing experiences, he was testifying of the things he'd gone through for Christ's sake. Despite being an Apostle unto the gentiles, he suffered many things for Christ and counted it as dung(Phil 3:8); all to the glory of God. Even as Christians, to suffer in the flesh for the sake of the gospel is a good thing of the LORD that should be testified. It doesn't mean we should suffer out of ignorance or as a sinner either (1 pet 4:15).
A believer might be hungry, thirsty, persecuted, reproached, hated, tormented e.t.c. for Christ; let him worry not, but rejoice. It is for a purpose, and for God to be glorified.
Peter said "Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God on this behalf"(1 pet.4:16). This is the LORD'S doing and it's marvellous in the sight of God.
Finally, let's put in mind that if any man would walk as Christ on earth, he must have the mind to suffer for the gospel (Phil 1:29)

Let's pick it up from where we stopped last week...

*There are 5 fundamental elements to any good voice:*

Breathing: while breathing comes to us naturally, breathing when you sing is a very different set of skills. By controlling your breathing with your diaphragm and opening your chest cavity, the singer can relax their body (which also alleviates tension) and circulate air around their body more effectively when they inhale and exhale.

2.*Elocution*: this is a skill that requires you can pronounce phonemes (both consonants and vowels) well during your singing.

3.*Rhythm*: knowing when to start and stop singing along with music is the sign of a great singer.

4.*Pitch*: the pitch and quality of the notes you sing is dependant on whether or not you’re sharp or flat when you sing (too high or too low in terms of pitch). When you sing a song, the vocal parts need to be in the same key as the song as you go from one note to another.

5.*The Voice*: Everyone’s voice is unique and unlike any other. Your body, gender, age, vocal cords, and many other factors will determine the type of voice you have and its general qualities. It will also determine your vocal range and tessitura (the range of notes you can produce without too much difficulty).

*SCORING A SONG*

SCORING A SONG is the tenacity and ability of literally knowing how a song was written, structured, and recorded. You inversely become the owner n producer of that song. Meaning that, you have to know the lyrics, the harmony, melody, rhythm etc.
What's the difference between
Covering a song
And scoring a song
HOW TO SCORE A SONG EFFECTIVELY
Firstly Scoring a song greatly depends on your level in music, listening fast, technicality of the song. You don’t score a song anyhow it needs ATTENTION and CONCENTRATION. For the fact that you are enjoying the song and singing along does not mean you have scored it. Now the Big Question is

(1) WHAT IS SCORING OF A SONG

(2) HOW CAN I SCORE A SONG
The HOW-TO of Scoring a song entails the above and what am about to write now.
1. JUST LISTEN: Get your phone or mp3 player listen to the song, enjoy the melody. Dont start learning it. Feel the weight and sweetness of the song. You can do this once or twice.

2. KNOW THE STRUCTURE OF THE SONG: Know how it started either from intro to chorus, from chorus to verse or vice versa. This will help you achieve alot at the long run. This is the first stage of scoring a song.
3. LEARN THE INSTRUMENTATION SOUND: Don’t say you don’t know how to play, my dear learn d sound o. The keyboardist may not get d melody or solo part. You will tell him, see! Is not like that play pi ni ra ra ni. (Lol). Knowing the sound arrangement will help you when singing.

4. SING ALONG: You sing alongside with the music even if you have not or have perfected the song. Try to sing the same thing you hear in the song. I know voice texture differs but try do it with your own voice texture. You might be scoring Tamela Mann Song while your voice texture is like Don Jazzy or Eben. Do it. But don’t go off.

To be continued...

Redemption Hills

Debts I couldn't pay,
In life and afterlife,
Nor could it be cleared
With all riches on Earth.
For I was mortgaged from birth.

Failures alighted and addictions boarded.
The reign of derailment began 'n' depression second - handed.
Forces rendered my ' _woman_ ' being useless.
Heat emitted like that from a blazing furnace,
Even than that fuelled with brimstone.

With the speed of a greased lightening I ran,
Until all exits were banned.
"Where now?", I screamed in anguish!
A still calm voice answered, "to the palace of Golgotha
Where your deficits will be dumped in the gutter".

Then I was led to the barrows of the skull,
Where my land was reclaimed,
And my imperfections made perfect.
Seeing bo***ge in the past tense,
I can sing a hymn of redemption.
