OUR FATHER IN THE LORD ON WHY WE DIDN'T CELEBRATE HIS BIRTHDAY YESTERDAY, AND WHY WE HAVE TO PUT GCK BENUE ON HOLD:
"Praise the Lord! The Spirit of God who has kept the Church from the very beginning till this time will in His power, revelation, authority and truth keep everyone of you, with me together until the glorious day in Jesus name!
"Much water has gone under the bridge between that time and this time, but the Lord has given us the power and unction to function as our minister who led us in prayer today said. And even though the water might be passing under the bridge, we will walk on it and survive, and the power of the Lord will continue to keep everyone in Jesus name!
"I know that yesterday, 6th of June, 2026, we were told to come by 2pm for our workers meeting, but we stopped that so that we don't lay a precedence that others will want to follow, and the practice of celebrating birthdays becomes part of the doctrines of the church. We don't want to lay an example that others will build on, and we put the Church in the hand of Herod, the birthday champion who chopped off the head of John the Baptist. This is why we soft-pedaled on that.
"But I thank the whole church for praying that God in His faithfulness will continue to keep me, and I do not take your love and prayer and attachment for your pastor for granted. I appreciate every good thing everyone has been doing in Jesus name!
"Another thing I want to tell you - you need to activate your shock absorber for this... You might have seen that we didn't project or promote GCK in Benue State which was supposed to hold from 24th to 28th June in Makurdi before we move to Gboko and Otukpo.
"As you can see, by the grace of God, as for health, I dey there. As for strength and ability to stand, walk, and run, your prayer and the faithfulness of God are keeping me. So, I was ready but we just learned last night that Benue State is celebrating its 50th year of becoming a state. We were reliably informed by authorities in the land that from 22nd to 28th June, the governor is bringing together a great gathering for the celebration, and our date falls inside that period.
"The number one venue the governor has chosen is the place we had planned to use, and we heard this information just last night.
"What do we do? Do we go to a different location within the city? That will be holding a parallel programme with the state governor. More so, all security apparatus in the state, the civil servants and all the people will be at the IBB Square with the governor. So, we have to bow out for that period.
"This is why we didn't make the announcement today. But the GCK continues in a powerful way and we will be telling you what will happen later because June is not the end of the road.
"Long life, sustained ministry, powerful pe*******on into every nation in the mighty name of Jesus. You are alright, I'm alright and the Lord is with us. He is opening doors and they will remain open in Jesus name! What is still to be done is greater, higher in multiplied folds than what has been done in the past. Remain faithful and focused and the great work of the gospel will still continue in His mighty power. "
