TOPIC: The Mantle of Mercy
TEXT: Isaiah 44:3

We saw the Prophet Isaiah of ancient Israel described the outpouring of the spirit of God as the MANTLE that is to rest, soak, wear like garment;
💫 Upon the man, woman that is thirsty for God's mercy.
💫 Floods upon the dry ground.
💫 The spirit of mercy upon our seeds.
💫 Supernatural blessings upon our children/offsprings.
Now this same race of Israel were the children of Israel, the people of the covenant, those from among whom we saw the rebellious, wayward and disobedient people, yet the God of mercy spoke forth. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy. (Exodus 33:19, Romans 9:15)
THE MECHANISMS OF THE MANTLE OF MERCY
1️⃣ Forgiving the Vilest Offender
2️⃣ Turning a Nobody to Somebody (Acts 4:13)
3️⃣ Convert Wasteland to Fruitful Field, a Thick Forest (Isaiah 32:15)
4️⃣ Shows the Way, Guides on the Way and Establishes Destinations (Psalms 16:11, 32:8)
5️⃣ Enthronement and Establishment (Psalm 8: 2-6)
6️⃣ Heavenly Victory at Last (Luke 23:43)
WHAT THEN IS MERCY?
🕐 It is the gift of God's underserved kindness and compassion
🕑 Mercy is when God, out of His loving kindness withhold punishment that we rightfully deserve because of our sin.
🕒 Mercy is the nature of God. It cannot be earned by human beings; it is part of God's nature to be merciful. (Deuteronomy 4:31)
Mercy can be provoked. (Malachi 3:10)
PRAYER POINT
Father, wash my destiny in Your covenant of mercy this day in all realms of my existence. Where my enemies and the enemies of the Lord have engulfed my destiny, my business, marriage, career with reproach, shame and slandering tongue, I decree by Your mantle of mercy this day that it be overturned with good news and acceptance in Jesus name.
