"No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed." - Deuteronomy 16:16

We have the bad habit of going into the presence of God just to ask for something and talk about how we're feeling. This is wrong! There is a difference between those who just ask and those who choose to give!

God is not an amulet that we use when we need it. He is the Lord and Savior of our lives and He deserves our sacrifices and obedience. We don't seek God just when we feel like it, we seek Him because he deserves our devotion!

LOVE AND PASSION ❀️‍πŸ”₯πŸ‘‡πŸΌ

Every time we start doing something new and that we really like, we have the habit of staying extremely in that and paying attention only to that one thing. But when that loses its first luster, we start to let it go completely.

And in our lifes with God things cannot work that way! The brightness must always be the same. Passion and love should always complement each other! Passion is extremely important and necessary, but if we don't transition from passion (feeling) to love (sacrifice), we will never grow.

The challenge in all areas of our life and especially our relationship with Jesus is to live based on love, but never losing passion for Him and for those around us!
