Why Jehovah's witness .... See more

---

I bear the name “Jehovah’s Witness” because my conviction is firmly rooted in the Scriptures, not in human tradition or preference.

First, I am convinced that Jehovah himself chose the term “witnesses.” In Isaiah 43:10, Jehovah clearly states:

> “You are my witnesses,” declares Jehovah, “yes, my servant whom I have chosen.”
This scripture shows me that Jehovah identifies true worshippers as those who bear witness about him—his name, his purposes, and his sovereignty.

Second, my conviction is that Jehovah’s personal name must be made known. The Bible does not present God as anonymous. Scriptures such as Psalm 83:18 say:

> “May people know that you, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the Most High over all the earth.”
Bearing the name “Jehovah’s Witnesses” reflects my desire to honor, use, and make known God’s personal name, just as faithful servants did in Bible times.

Third, I am convinced that true Christians must testify publicly about Jehovah and his Kingdom. Jesus said at Matthew 24:14 that the good news of the Kingdom would be preached in all the inhabited earth. Just as Jesus bore witness to Jehovah (John 17:6), I feel obligated to do the same.

Additionally, Acts 15:14 strengthens my conviction, stating that God is “taking out of the nations a people for his name.” This convinces me that Jehovah has a people who are identified by, and closely associated with, his name.

Therefore, I bear the name Jehovah’s Witness not as a label created by men, but as a Scriptural identity. My conviction is that this name accurately reflects who I worship, whose name I honor, and whom I choose to represent before others.

Please i will always encourage you to visit JW.org for your information about Jehovah's witnesses and their beliefs as this is my personal conviction and understanding of the Bible ✅ 🤝🏿 🫶🏿

Lesson From Today's daily Text

Today's text made me recall "the goat for Az**el" as recorded in Leviticus chapter 16. It was such a powerful and important tradition for the nation of Israel. On the Day of Atonement, the High Priest would lay his hands on the goat's head, confessing over it all the errors and rebellions of the nation. A designated man would then lead it far away from the camp into the vast wilderness, symbolically carrying the sins of the people to a faraway place where they would be seen no more.
Interestingly, the rabbis of Jesus's time are said to have made certain that the goat for Az**el died, by having it led to a rocky cliff at the edge of the wilderness and then having it pushed over the cliff to meet it's end below.
This tradition helps us see exactly how Jehovah views forgiveness. He does not simply tuck our sins into a drawer only to pull them out later. Instead, through the ransom paid by Jesus Christ, he releases us from those burdens PERMANENTLY.
He offers us a clean slate, allowing us to stand before him without the weight of the past hanging over our heads. However, our being forgiven is dependent on something equally important. Jesus explained: “If you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” (Matt. 6:14, 15)
In other words, If we want our sins carried away into the "wilderness", we must be just as ready to let go of the grievances we hold against our fellow man.

The White Horse of Revelation 6:2 — Christ’s Kingship and Hope for Mankind.

‎The book of Revelation uses powerful symbols to reveal how Jehovah carries out His purpose through Jesus Christ. One of the most striking of these symbols is found at Revelation 6:2, which describes a rider on a white horse. Far from being a mysterious or frightening image, this vision provides strong assurance that God’s Kingdom is already in operation under Christ’s rulership and that it brings genuine hope to mankind.

Revelation 6:2 states:

“And I saw, and look! a white horse, and the one seated on it had a bow; and a crown was given him, and he went out conquering and to complete his conquest.”

‎The rider is identified by several key features: he rides a white horse, he receives a crown, and he goes out conquering. These details closely match what the Scriptures elsewhere reveal about Jesus Christ after his enthronement as King of God’s Kingdom.

The fact that “a crown was given him” shows that this authority was granted, not taken by force. This harmonizes with Daniel 7:13, 14, where the Son of man is given kingship, dignity, and a kingdom by Jehovah himself. Jesus later confirmed this when he said: “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth.” (Matthew 28:18)

‎In Scripture, the color white is associated with purity, righteousness, and divine approval. (Isaiah 1:18; Revelation 3:5) The white horse therefore symbolizes the clean and righteous nature of Christ’s rule. Unlike human governments that are often stained by injustice, corruption, and violence, Jesus rules in perfect harmony with Jehovah’s standards.

‎This righteous rulership assures obedient mankind that Christ’s conquest is not destructive in nature but restorative, aimed at removing wickedness and healing what sin has damaged.

‎Psalm 45 provides a prophetic description that beautifully complements Revelation 6:2. Speaking of the Messianic King, it says:

‎“In your splendor go on to victory; ri
