November 2021 Thanksgiving Service

Topic: Great Expectations
Text: Proverbs 24:13-14

• Expectation means what you want to become. For example, as a Prince, your expectation is to one day be the King.
• Expectation could also mean something you want to have. For example, a pregnant woman one day expects that she will have a child.
• Expectation can also mean something you want to achieve. A student expects that one day he'll graduate.

• A very large percentage of everybody when asked will say their expectation is to be very rich. Everybody wants money.
• The difference between a Landlord and a tenant is money. Eccl 10:19. If you have money, you can have almost everything you want; houses, lands, clothes.

• However, money has challenges. It just never satisfies. Eccl. 5:10.
The more you have, the more you want. Eccl. 5:12.

• People have all kinds of reasons in pursuing money, some say for their children.
• It's a good thing but the elders have a saying that it is the one that is buried that knows whether he has children.
• There's something far better than laying up treasures for your children. It is to ensure that your children are already prospering when you are alive that they won't even need your money.

• Like the man in Luke 12:16- 21, laying up treasures and running after things makes you just a fool. Nobody knows tomorrow.

- The Bible asks us to seek the Kingdom of God first.

• Seek not the things that won't satisfy you. Jeremiah 45:5
- Power Corrupts. 2 Chronicles 26: 3-21.
- Popularity makes you a slave of the people. 1 Samuel 15: 1-31.

• Don't seek popularity. Seek God first.
True promotion comes from God.

- Apostle Paul said he forfeits all he had so he could win Christ. Philippians 3:1-11
• Seeking God and Knowing God will help you do exploits. Daniel 11:32.

• Exploits are things that happen and everyone recognizing only God can make them happen.

+ Seek to know the power that God gives not the ones Human beings give. The Power that can work special miracles. Acts 19:12.

+ Your expectation should be set on the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. I John 3:2.

• You might want to ask what my own expectation is? My Greatest Expectation is that I see all of you in heaven.
- I want to see you in heaven.

• If you've not been living Holy, start living Holy because without Holiness you can not make heaven.

Salvation call:
If you are not born again you can't see God because the Bible says ”no man can see the Lord except he's born again”.
If you're not born again ask God to save your soul, ask him to wash you clean.

Prayer Point:
Father, any thing that will not let me make it to heaven please don't give it to me.

WHO IS THE LORD
A LORD is one of high office; a noble man (Deut 10:17)

1) WHO IS A SHEPHERD
A shepherd is good, his intentions are always good, (John 10:11, -18,10:14, Jer 29:11, Rom 8:28)

He knows all his sheep (John 10:14)

He carters/provide for his sheep (Ps 23:1, 34:10, Hag 2:8)

He leads them [He goes before them and after them] (John 10:2-4, Ps 23:3

2) WHO IS THE SHEEP
The Sheep knows his shepherd (John 10:4)

The sheep follows the shepherd (John 10:5, 1 Tim 6:11)

The Sheep trust the shepherd (Prov 3:5-7, Ps 37:5)

The sheep looks up to the shepherd (Heb 12:2)

3) THE RELATIONSHIP
It is personal "The Lord is my shepherd"

It's a fellowship of TRUST and OBIDIENCE

September 2021 Thanksgiving Service
Topic: Flood Of Abundance.
Text: Psalm 68: 18-19.

Benefits from God come in Loads. He gives in abundance. Our God is a glorious God. There's nothing glorious in scarcity or in poverty or in shame. Whether the devil likes it or not, you will prosper in Jesus Name. You will not end a tenant in Jesus Name. Before the end of the year, miraculously you will have your own house in Jesus Name. God is a God of Abundance. 2 Kings 4. He is always more than enough. Jesus fed the multitude with 5 loaves and two fishes. He still had leftovers. John 6:1-13. I decree in the name of the One who called me, you will never borrow again.
When we talk about flood of abundance. We are talking about abundance in an extraordinary amount. God has Joy unspeakable.
God has Peace that passeth all understanding. God can work Special Miracles. Everything God can do, He can do in an extraordinary amount. I say to someone here today, God will prosper you in Jesus Name. You have to know a flood can cause a problem. Luke 5:1-7. A flood of abundance can sink boats. Be careful because a flood of abundance can cause a man to forget God. 1 Kings 11: 1-4.
King Solomon after God had prospered him turn his heart away from God. He got himself 700 wives and 300 concubines. A flood of abundance can be dangerous! Be careful. It is better to follow what Jesus said: Seek Ye first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness. Then all other things will be added to you. If you want God to prosper you, you must make up your mind that you are ready to worship him for the rest of your life. God is even more eager to prosper you because he is looking for divine treasurers. Prayer Point: Father, I am ready. Send the flood of abundance.
