The programme, conceived as a convergence of spirituality, scholarship, service, personal development, and brotherhood, progressively unfolded into a remarkable journey of renewal, enlightenment, reflection, and Kingdom service. From its opening activities to the grand finale, every phase provided an opportunity for the ABASites and participants to deepen their understanding of the immutable nature of the Word while reaffirming their commitment to academic excellence and service to humanity.

𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐄
The grand finale commenced in an atmosphere of solemnity and spiritual anticipation with an early morning devotion conducted by 𝐃𝐕 𝐄𝐭𝐢𝐦 𝐀𝐬𝐮𝐪𝐮𝐨; 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐭 . The devotion provided a fitting spiritual foundation for the day's activities, preparing the minds and hearts of the congregation for a day of thanksgiving, celebration, intellectual engagement, and divine fellowship.

This was followed by an inspiring Divine Service alongside the 2026 BAYA Fasting Service, eloquently conducted by the Father in 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐛𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐄𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐡 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐢. The congregation gathered in reverence and unity, seeking the Father's direction, blessings, and continued presence. All requisite protocols associated with the opening phase of the programme were meticulously observed, creating an atmosphere characterised by order, reverence, expectation, and devotion.

As the programme advanced, the High Table was duly constituted, with 𝐇𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐜𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧. Her presence added immense dignity and significance to the gathering. In her opening remarks, the Chairperson extended a warm and gracious welcome to the distinguished guests, dignitaries, executives, ABASites, and other participants who had gathered to witness the culmination of the remarkable seven-day programme. Her welcome address effectively set the tone for a memorable celebration while underscoring the significance of collective participation in the advancement of the Association.

The atmosphere was subsequently elevated through a beautifully rendered welcome anthem by the ABASites and ABAS Anthem. With hearts united in worship and adoration, the ABASites delivered the anthem with remarkable grace, creating an atmosphere charged with reverence and spiritual expectancy. The rendition served as more than a musical presentation; it became an expression of gratitude and acknowledgement of the divine presence that had accompanied the programme from its inception.

A major intellectual highlight of the grand finale was a scintillating and thought-provoking paper presentation delivered by 𝐂𝐀 (𝐃𝐫.) 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐔𝐠𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐤𝐰𝐮, titled:“𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭, 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞.”

The presentation emphasised the importance of becoming purposeful scholars whose intellectual abilities are translated into tangible contributions to society and meaningful service to the Father's work. The ABASites listened with keen attention, enthusiasm, and intellectual curiosity, making the session not merely an academic lecture but a moment of reflection and renewed commitment.

The presentation reinforced a fundamental message embedded in the theme of the programme: the pursuit of knowledge becomes truly meaningful when knowledge is used to illuminate lives, transform communities, and advance the cause of righteousness and service.

Adding colour, excitement, and youthful vibrancy to the occasion, the ABASites presented a captivating choreography, which brought a refreshing atmosphere of joy and liveliness to the grand finale.

The presentation complemented the spiritual and academic dimensions of the programme, demonstrating that discipline, creativity, unity, and talent can coexist harmoniously within the scholarly community. The performance was warmly received and appreciated by the gathering, further enriching an already memorable occasion.

Another poignant and memorable segment of the grand finale was the Recognition and Awards Presentation. The ceremony provided an avenue to honour deserving individuals, executives, and notable champions whose sacrifices, dedication, leadership, and contributions had significantly advanced the growth and development of the chapter.

Tokens of appreciation were presented to deserving recipients as a public acknowledgement of their service and commitment. The gesture was not merely ceremonial; it represented a deliberate effort to preserve a culture in which diligence is recognised, sacrifice is appreciated, and exemplary service is encouraged.

Concurrently, other ABASites embarked on two-by-two evangelism, with members paired into different groups to reach out to the people of Ulakwo Community.

Moving from one house to another, the evangelists engaged residents with the message of the Gospel, seeking to awaken spiritual consciousness and communicate the redemptive message of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star.

This phase of the programme demonstrated that evangelism is not merely an organised event but a personal responsibility requiring courage, commitment, and a genuine concern for the spiritual welfare of humanity.

𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍-𝐀𝐈𝐑 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆
As the evening approached, the ABASites, together with residents and other members of the community, gathered for a powerful Open-Air Service and Healing Session.

The service was conducted by 𝐏𝐂𝐒 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐩 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐰𝐚, who drew his scriptural text from John 16:7–8. The session lasted approximately four hours and was characterised by profound spiritual teachings, earnest attention, and a strong sense of divine presence.

Through the operation of the Holy Spirit Divine, the Father schooled the audience on the nature of the Immutable Word, who is in the midst of humanity, yet remains unknown to the world.

The teaching challenged the audience to look beyond the physical manifestations of life and recognise the deeper spiritual reality of the Word and His presence among humanity. It was a moment of reflection, revelation, and renewed spiritual consciousness.

Alongside the Open-Air Service, the Father, through His son CA Samuel Ekene, conducted a powerful healing session that attracted numerous residents of the community.

Members of the audience who came with various health challenges and difficult life circumstances presented themselves for prayers and healing. During the session, several testimonies and manifestations of divine intervention were witnessed, leaving the audience deeply moved and spiritually encouraged.

Subsequently, Choral Evangelism commenced. The ABASites rendered scintillating and heavenly songs that reverberated through the community. Their voices rose as a collective expression of worship and evangelism, filling the atmosphere like a sweet spiritual fragrance and creating an ambience deeply suggestive of the presence of the Godhead.

The choral presentation further demonstrated the place of music as a powerful instrument of evangelism — one capable of reaching hearts beyond the limitations of ordinary speech.

The Healing Service and associated evangelical activities of Season of Renewal — Episode 2 at Ulakwo were far more than a sequence of scheduled events. They constituted a profound demonstration of faith, service, scholarship, evangelism, fellowship, and spiritual responsibility.

From the early morning devotion to the community procession, from the Bible Class to the corporate and two-by-two evangelism, and from the Open-Air Service to healing, baptism, and Choral Evangelism, the day presented a compelling picture of what can happen when young scholars surrender their knowledge, strength, talents, and resources to divine service.

The most significant achievement was not merely the successful ex*****on of the programme, but the opportunity to reach souls, awaken spiritual consciousness, establish relationships within the community, and create avenues for continued evangelism and follow-up.

Indeed, Ulakwo witnessed the footprints of the Renewed Scholars, and the message resounded clearly: the Word is not merely spoken; the Word must be lived, demonstrated, and carried to humanity.

Season of Renewal — Episode 2 therefore continues to stand as a testimony that when scholarship is united with spirituality, and knowledge is placed at the service of humanity, evangelism becomes not merely an activity, but a transformative force.

Following the preparatory sessions, the Renewed Scholars proceeded on a solemn and Spirit-filled procession through the metropolises of Ulakwo Community.

The procession was led by the 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐒 𝐈𝐠𝐰𝐮𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐚 𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐁𝐫𝐨. 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐆𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐎𝐤𝐞𝐨𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐞, 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞-𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐒𝐢𝐬. 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐍𝐝𝐮𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢. It commenced from Ulakwo Bethel in Ulakwo 1, where the ABASites were camped, and proceeded from Ulakwo 1 to Ulakwo 2, lasting approximately one hour and thirty minutes

The procession was characterised by the rendition of powerful and heavenly songs, creating an atmosphere of spiritual consciousness throughout the community. The event banner was prominently displayed, drawing the attention of residents and onlookers to the message and purpose of the gathering.

The sight of the Brotherhood children processing through the community generated considerable interest and wonder among the people. Beyond witnessing the presence of the Brotherhood, many were introduced to the reality that the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star has a scholarly arm — the Association of Brotherhood Academic Scholars (ABAS)

The procession therefore represented more than a physical movement from one location to another. It became a public declaration of the presence of the Father's children and the Gospel they carried.

Historically, the procession marked a significant milestone, being the first recorded instance of ABASites processing through the region. It consequently created an indelible impression upon the community and served as a powerful evangelical statement that the Father, Olumba Olumba Obu, is the Immutable Word.

In continuation of the day's evangelical activities, the Father in 𝐁𝐫𝐨. 𝐂𝐲𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐣𝐢𝐨𝐠𝐮, a native of the community, led the ABASites on a corporate evangelical outreach to the 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐰𝐨 𝟐 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 and the 𝐎𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐰𝐨 𝟏 , alongside their respective Councils of Chiefs.

During the visitations, Brotherhood literatures were presented to the traditional rulers and their councils. The visits provided an opportunity for the ABASites to introduce the purpose of the evangelical mission, establish meaningful relationships with community leadership, and communicate the message of the Brotherhood.

In their respective responses, the traditional rulers expressed profound gratitude to the God of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star for assigning the scholars to such a mission. They acknowledged the message presented by the ABASites and expressed appreciation for what they described as a profound Gospel that transcends ordinary human understanding.

Their responses further demonstrated the importance of taking the message beyond conventional boundaries and bringing the Gospel directly to communities, institutions, and people.

As part of the activities marking 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐥 — 𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝟐, particularly the Mega Evangelism spanning from 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝟏𝟐𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 (𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐒), 𝐈𝐠𝐰𝐮𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐚 𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐞, in collaboration with the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, Ulakwo, successfully conducted a remarkable 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐔𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐰𝐨 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐥, 𝐄𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐆𝐀 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

The ABASites arrived at Ulakwo Bethel on the evening of Friday, 11th September 2026, marking the commencement of the Mega Evangelism under Season of Renewal — Episode 2. Their arrival set the stage for the commencement of the Healing Night, as the Renewed Scholars assembled in preparation for a night of evangelism, spiritual awakening, and divine encounter.

The Healing Service was conducted by CA Samuel Ekene, in accordance with the established Order of Service. The entire programme was spiritually charged, deeply engaging, and remarkably impactful, as the Father glorified Himself through the activities of His children and manifested His presence among the people.

𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐃𝐄𝐕𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍
At 5:00 a.m., the day's activities commenced with a solemn Morning Devotion, conducted by the Bethel Priest of Ulakwo Bethel. The devotion spiritually prepared and positioned the Renewed Scholars for what would become a significant day of evangelism, service, and divine operation.

Shortly after the devotion, the ABASites embarked on a brief outing around the neighbourhood to announce the arrival of the Father's children into the community. This initial movement served not merely as an announcement of physical presence but as an early evangelical signal that the message of the Kingdom had come to Ulakwo.

Upon returning to the Bethel, the ABASites had a brief period to refresh themselves and prepare for the Bible Class, Interactive Session, and Self-Evaluation Programme.

𝐁𝐈𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒 / 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍
The Bible Class and Interactive Session constituted a significant preparatory component of the day's activities. The session was facilitated by 𝐁𝐫𝐨. 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐎𝐤𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐡, 𝐒𝐢𝐬. 𝐃𝐚𝐮𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐠𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐢, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐨. 𝐂𝐲𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐣𝐢𝐨𝐠𝐮.

The discussion centred principally on the essence, importance, and responsibility of Evangelism, with the facilitators providing insightful teachings on the duty of every ABASite to propagate the Word and communicate the teachings and principles of the Brotherhood effectively.

Particular emphasis was placed on the necessity for every evangelist to possess a sound understanding of the message being communicated. The facilitators stressed the importance of confidence, wisdom, proper communication, spiritual discernment, and scriptural accuracy when engaging members of the public during evangelistic activities.

The facilitators also addressed possible questions, objections, and concerns that Brotherhood members might encounter while undertaking evangelism. Practical guidance and appropriate responses were provided to equip the participants to respond intelligently, confidently, and in harmony with the teachings of the Scriptures.

Relevant biblical and spiritual references were cited throughout the session to establish and reinforce the teachings. Consequently, participants were not only intellectually enlightened but spiritually awakened to the profound responsibility of carrying the Gospel beyond the walls of the Bethel.

The session was interactive, enlightening, spiritually enriching, and impactful, leaving the Renewed Scholars better equipped, encouraged, and prepared to participate actively in evangelism and represent the Brotherhood with knowledge, confidence, and conviction.

𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟐 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐘: 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐘 𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

In line with the programme of events for Season of Renewal, Episode 2, the Association of Brotherhood Academic Scholars (ABAS), Igwuruta Zone, embarked on a courtesy visitation to the Bethel Priest of Igwuruta, DV Etim Asuquo on Tuesday, 8th September 2026, at His residence.

The Father, in the love and warmth of His beloved Son, graciously welcomed the ABASites who were present during the visitation. The atmosphere was filled with joy, love, fellowship, and meaningful interaction, as the ABASites expressed their profound respect and appreciation for the Father's presence, guidance, and continued support.

Furthermore, the Father admonished the children to remain steadfast and encouraged them to continue in the good work of the Father. He emphasized the importance of diligence, commitment, unity, and perseverance, reminding everyone that every good work has its reward. His words served as a source of encouragement and renewed strength to the ABASites as they continued their pursuit of academic excellence and spiritual growth.

The visitation was indeed a remarkable and inspiring experience, as the ABASites engaged in meaningful communication and deliberations in an atmosphere of unity and harmony. It provided a beautiful opportunity for fellowship, learning, encouragement, and a reaffirmation of the collective commitment to the vision, mission, and values of ABAS—all to the glory of the Father.

As the Scripture reminds us:

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

The ABASites remain deeply grateful for the Father's warm reception, words of wisdom, guidance, and continued encouragement.

DAY 3 ACTIVITY REPORT

COURTESY VISIT TO HON. KINGSLEY IHEANYICHUKWU

Still basking in the grace, gratitude, and renewed consciousness of purpose that define Season of Renewal — Episode 2, the Association of Brotherhood Academic Scholars (ABAS), Igwuruta Zone, today paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Kingsley Iheanyichukwu at his office.

The visit, led by the Vice President, Events & Programmes, alongside the Chapter President and other executives, was undertaken to formally introduce the ongoing Season of Renewal — Episode 2, share the vision behind the programme, and extend an invitation to Hon. Kingsley Iheanyichukwu to be part of this impactful and transformative gathering.

Beyond the formalities of a courtesy visit, the encounter became a meaningful moment of connection, reflection, mentorship, and shared purpose. It was a reminder that when young people deliberately seek wisdom from those ahead of them, they do not merely receive words—they inherit perspectives capable of shaping their journey.

In his response, Hon. Kingsley Iheanyichukwu expressed great delight at seeing young people passionately carrying the banner of the Kingdom and committing themselves to the service of the Father. He encouraged the ABASites to serve the Father wholeheartedly while they are young, emphasizing the importance of investing the strength, energy, intellect, and opportunities of youth in things that possess eternal value.

He further admonished the young scholars not to allow the distractions, pressures, and transient attractions of the world to weaken their commitment to the things of the Father. His words carried a profound charge: the season of youth is not merely a period for preparation; it is also a season of responsibility, impact, and purposeful service.

Indeed, a generation becomes significant when it discovers what it must live for and refuses to be distracted from it. Academic excellence, professional ambition, leadership, and personal advancement acquire their greatest meaning when they are anchored in character, purpose, and service.

Hon. Kingsley Iheanyichukwu warmly accepted the invitation and expressed his appreciation for the visit, acknowledging the thoughtfulness of the Chapter in considering it important to personally extend the invitation.

The visit commenced with prayers and culminated in prayers of thanksgiving and appreciation to the Father. The team also expressed sincere gratitude to Hon. Kingsley Iheanyichukwu for graciously making time to receive them despite his demanding schedule.

Today was more than a courtesy visit; it was an encounter with wisdom, a reinforcement of purpose, and a reminder that the future belongs to those who are willing to build it with conviction.

As ABAS Igwuruta Zone continues through Season of Renewal — Episode 2, the message remains clear:

Renewed minds. Purposeful youths. Responsible scholars. A generation committed to God, excellence, and impact.

Indeed, the Father took all the glory!

As part of the activities marking Season of Renewal — Episode 2, the Association of Brotherhood Academic Scholars (ABAS), Igwuruta Zone, on Friday, 11th September 2026, paid a courtesy visitation to one of its esteemed Advisers and Patrons, PCS Polycarp Emerengwa.

The visitation was led by the Vice-President, Events, Bro. Henshaw Wilson, who coordinated the ABASites to the residence of PCS Polycarp Emerengwa. The purpose of the visit was to formally present an update on the Zone’s annual programme, highlighting the activities undertaken, progress recorded, and the collective efforts of the scholars towards the successful completion of the programme.

The ABASites were warmly received by PCS Polycarp Emerengwa, who expressed his appreciation for the visit and offered words of encouragement and fatherly counsel. He urged the scholars to remain committed to the work of the Father and to continue making meaningful contributions towards the growth and advancement of the Association.

He particularly emphasized the importance of treating the core mandate entrusted to ABAS by the Father with utmost seriousness, dedication, discipline, and sincerity. He admonished the scholars never to treat the mandate with levity, reminding them that every genuine labour rendered in the service of God carries a reward.

His counsel resonates with the assurance of Scripture:

The visitation was inspiring, enlightening, and impactful, providing an opportunity for renewed reflection, valuable counsel, encouragement, and fatherly blessings, while further strengthening the bond between ABAS and its Adviser.

With gratitude to the Father, the visitation was successfully accomplished, and the ABASites remain resolute in carrying out the Father’s work and fulfilling the mandate entrusted to them.
