ONIGBOHO OF IGBOHO KINGDOM HAILS GOVERNOR MAKINDE ON THE CONSTITUTION OF THE OYO STATE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL; EXTENDS ROYAL FELICITATIONS TO THE OLUBADAN OF IBADANLAND, OBA RASHIDI ADEWOLU LADOJA, AS CHAIRMAN
The Palace of the Onigboho of Igboho Kingdom, speaking with the voice and authority of the ancient throne of Igboho, extends profound commendation to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for his foresight, courage, and statesmanship in the successful constitution of the Oyo State Traditional Council.
The Palace regards the inauguration of the Council as a historic watershed—one that reaffirms the sacred place of traditional institutions, restores dignity to the stools of our forefathers, and strengthens the bonds of unity, consultation, and collective guardianship among the revered royal fathers of Oyo State.
With deep royal satisfaction, the Onigboho of Igboho Kingdom congratulates His Imperial Majesty, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on his well-merited appointment as Chairman of the Oyo State Traditional Council. This noble choice is a clear testament to Kabiyesi’s seasoned wisdom, royal experience, calm disposition, and lifelong dedication to peace, stability, and the advancement of the Yoruba nation.
The Palace declares that the constitution of the Oyo State Traditional Council stands as a monumental achievement that shall foster harmony, deepen consultation, and entrench collective leadership among custodians of Yoruba tradition.
