Topic: Destroying Devil's Mission

reading 10:10

The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy, my purpose is to give life in all its fullness.

When praying for the nation, we need to know that the devil has three major mission to achieve. He is the author of confusion, the planner and executor of evil. It is natural for devil to bad. That is his nature. Wherever he is, calamities, pains, chaos, disasters and so on abound. But the mission of Christ is to give life in all its fulnsss.

There is no president, governor, or a chairman of a local government that would not meant well for his subjects whom he ruled over. Everyone will want history to say something nice about his reign but it is a pity that what most of them had in mind before going is not what they eventually execute. The reason for this is not far fetched, it is the devil at work.

The devil comes to steal, kill and to destroy. So, our prayer for our leaders to get it right is very important.

Devil doesn't come in form of masquerade nor a ghost but make use of people. He comes through whoever that make him or herself available. One of the ways to destroy the mission of the devil to make our fellow man better. How positive do you influence your fellow man, friends, community and so on.

You are agent of the devil if you involve in bribery and corruption, promoting thuggery is a sign of being an agent of the devil. The love of our nation should be Paramount to us. When everyone does what is right, then we will have a better society. It is act of selfishness for someone to personalize what should be for everyone.

As you go today, make it a priority to destroy the mission of the devil by influencing everyone you meet positively for the sake of this nation. By doing this, the number of devil's agent will be reducing.

The Carpenter

An elderly carpenter told his contractor of his plans to retire. The contractor asked him to build one more house as a personal favor. The Carpenter agreed to do it. Yet, this time, the carpenter didn't put his heart into his work; he used cheap materials and bad workmanship.

After the house was finished, the contractor came by and told the carpenter, "Here is the key to the front door. This house is my gift to you for your years of service." What a shock! If he had only known he was building his own house, he would have done it all so differently. Now he had to live in the home he had built none too well. So it is with us. We are now living the life we have built.

Think of yourself as the carpenter. Each action you take is a nail hammered, a board placed, or a wall erected. Build wisely. It is the only life you will ever build. Your life today is the result of your attitudes and choices in the past. Your life tomorrow will be the result of your attitudes and choices you make today.
