A father in faith. A voice of truth. A life poured out in service to God and His people.

Thank you for saying “yes” to God when it wasn’t easy. Thank you for the prayers, the sacrifices, and the years you poured into planting this church and nurturing it from the very beginning.

Because of your obedience, many of us found direction, purpose, and a deeper walk with God. This house stands today because you first carried the burden and stayed faithful.

We are truly grateful for all you have done and continue to do. Your labour has not gone unnoticed, and your impact is written in the lives of everyone you’ve raised.

Our prayer is that God strengthens you, increases you on every side, and continues to reward your faithfulness.

May your oil never run dry, and may your voice keep shaping destinies for many more years.

Topic: The Gift That Honours

A gift can either honour or dishonour a man—it’s not just about giving, but how and why you give.

Sonship is not just a relationship; it is a covenantal function, expressed in different ways.

There is a gift that honours and a gift that dishonours (Romans 13:7).
There is a strong connection between honour and giving (Hebrews 5:4).

We honour our father because:

He is called by God

He has grown through time and experience in God

He serves as a covering over our lives

Double honour comes when a man labours diligently for God.

Meaning of Honour
To value, to hold in high esteem, to place weight and significance on someone.

WAYS TO HONOUR OUR FATHER
By service

By praying for him

By defending his cause

By giving

Those who labour over us, admonish and teach us (1 Thessalonians 5:12).

Honour must be expressed tangibly (Acts 28:8–10).

Honour first goes to God, then to the man God is using to bless your life.

THE THREE PEOPLE WE GIVE TO
God

God’s poor

God’s servant (the Man of God)

HOW TO HONOUR WITH YOUR GIFT
There is a connection between the quality of your gift and the state of your heart.

1️⃣ Honour with your best
Any gift that carries the spirit of sacrifice honours deeply.

2️⃣ Give what provokes (2 Kings 4:8–10)
When perception changes, your giving changes.
You begin to give in ways that provoke the anointing.

FINAL CHARGE
When you honour the Man of God:

You come under a blessing

Grace is invoked over your life

Shifts begin to happen

Honour is not silent—it is seen, felt, and expressed.
