JESUS Is Our Perfect Jubilee

"The Spirit of the LORD is upon me (Jesus), for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will he set free, and that the time of the LORD'S favour has come...
The Scripture you've just heard has been fulfilled this very day!" (Luke 4:14-21, NLT; cf Isaiah 61:1-2)

Everything spelt out in the 25th Chapter of the book of Leviticus concerning the Year of Jubilee is effective and has its fulfillment in Christ Jesus.
It provides details concerning what was supposed to happen during the Year of Jubilee, that is, the 50th Year.
1. All property sold returned to the original owners.
2. All slaves were freed or purchased back.
3. All debts were forgiven and considered paid in full.
4. The land would rest and there would be no planting or harvesting. They were sustained with the previous year's crop.
5. It would be a time of celebration and feasting.
The year of Jublee was crucial season amongst the Hebrews because their conditions notwithstanding, the people could look forward to this time with the hope of restoration and new beginning.
Believers in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17) have a superior Jubilee to that of the Jews. Ours is perfect Jubilee in Christ.
The Jews needed to wait for 50 years to have Jubilee Experience. Unfortunately, some of them perhaps, died before the Year of Jubilee came. But for you and I in Christ, our Jubilee is not seasonal. We have a perfect Jubilee which is daily, weekly, monthly and yearly experience. Our Jubilee is NOW and ALWAYS!
The right time is NOW. Today is the day of salvation (2 Cor 6:2). At salvation in Christ there is:
REDEMPTION Eph 1:7; 1 Cor 1:30
FREEDOM Jn 8:32,36; Gal 5:1, 2 Pet 2:20
FORGIVENESS Col 1:14
REST Matt 11:28, Heb 4:1,10
JOY Rom 5:11
Jubilee is Paradise Experience (Luke 23:43), and it's This Day! It is Good News to the Poor and the oppressed. It's the acceptable season of God's favour.

2022: UNHINDERED PROGRESS

Anything that restricts, prevents, delays, withstands or holds you back is a hindrance. It may be sin, sickness, Satan, financial difficulties, doubt/ unbelief, laziness, envy of men, and so on. God will arrest them all this year!
You are unstoppable!
