Secondary School Mission Outreach

Yesterday, Upper House Mission Team held her secondary school outreach .A. Grammar School School, Ifetedo.

The Students were engaged on the NEGATIVE IMPACT OF BULLYING. One of the common social vices among teenager's today is BULLYING, we can't shy away from this act because it is prevalence almond secondary school students.

Many Student's are being bully either by hitting, destroying their properties, insults, threats, name calling, cyber bullying, excluding someone from a group, spreading rumors, etc.

Many students who are victim have withdraw themselves from studies which has made to be performing woefully in their academics, some have fear of going to school, some have lost interest in studies, withdraw from friend's, etc.

Major cause of bullying among secondary school students can be as a result of POOR PARENTING or HOME VIOLENCE; it can be as a result of desire for power and control; it can also be as a result of peer pressure, It can be jealousy or insecurity, etc.

Bullying is not a sign of strength but weakness. Every Student's deserve to feel safe, respected and valued.

Be friendly, don't bully.

One of the silence secret problem that is destroying the Spiritual Life of many Christians youths and teenagers today is ADDICTION. Many Spiritual youths in church today are slaves to ADDICTION and they are using church activities to cover up their addiction.

Addiction to ma********on, alcoholism, po*******hy, fornication, s*x movies, betting, lustful thought, putting on s*xy clothes, lies, etc. For every addiction; there is a demonic spirit enforcing it. Addiction does not come suddenly, it comes gradual subtle way (harmless most time).

Some churches are not even helping the situation because they are always busy with activities that deals with physical needs instead of Spiritual needs. Many youths want to be free but a demonic force is holding them down.

Anything that is pleasing to your eyes but is also destroying your relationship with God is a chronic addiction.

Some youth sisters are on FAMILY PLANNING in order to prevent unwanted pregnancy. Some have secretly involved in abortion. Some even linked someone to health facilities for abortion (partner in crime).

Some brothers are addicted to po*******hy and ma********on. Some are playing betting on their phones secretly. Some are luring young sisters to bed all in the name of fellowship or church TITLE or MENTORING.

Every day, devil keep extracting PRECIOUS JEWELS in the lives of those who are addicted to sin, which make them slaves to him.

Let me ask this question!
Ever since you are under the control of addiction; has it bring any physical or Spiritual benefits to your life?

Many Christians workers in the house of God are rotten; offering strange sacrifices to God. It is time to repent, and NOW is the TIME to return back to God completely. Return to Jesus today and He is ever ready to save you from that addiction of sin.

Secondary School Mission Outreach

Today, Upper House Christian Faith Center held their secondary school outreach Hope Secondary School, Ifetedo.

The Students were taught about PEER PRESSURE, especially the Negative peer pressure that pushes someone toward bad behaviors in the society. They were also engaged in Ways To Resist Negative Peer Pressure at school and in the society.

Student's lives were blessed by the Word through our beloved team sister Ibukunoluwa Oluwafolakemi Mercy.

LETTER TO DISCIPLES OF CHRIST

Dear Disciple of Christ,

We must be truthful to ourselves, we are already in the perilous time. It has come, we are already in it. But are we conscious about bringing sinners to Christ, or we are conscious of materialism or fame?

It is time to intensify more about ADVANCING GOD'S KINGDOM through preaching of the true Word of God.

We must be INTENTIONAL and WILLING to stretch ourselves beyond our comfort zone for Christ. Remember, the missionaries that came to Africa; they all left their families, career, investment, etc and came to Africa, for the purpose of winning souls for Christ in Africa.

It is time to use every platforms open to us to reach out to the lost souls and also draw heart of those in Christ closer to God the more. Those in the rural rural areas, schools, campuses, streets, town, cities, etc

Do not rest, because it is not yet time to rest. The journey is still far.

During the last DISCIPLESHIP RETREAT organized by Upper House Christian Faith Center.

The Bible Study Session was loaded as the participants were taught WHO IS A LIGHT BEARER? The participants were also taught PRACTICAL WAYS TO BE A LIGHT BEARER AT THIS END-TIME. One of the ways to be a Light Bearer is by Determine not to join others in wrong doing.

To God be the glory for the success of the he Campus Discipleship Retreat in conjunction with Anglican Student's Fellowship, Ifetedo Chapter. Organized by Upper House Christian Faith Center

The theme of the retreat is THE LIGHT BEARER.

Participants were taught the followings;
1. Who Is Light Bearer?
2. Fire Extinguisher of Light Bearer
3. Reasons to be a Light Bearer at this Perilous Time.
4. Practical Ways to be a Light Bearer.

As a light bearer, let your life reflect the nature of Christ in you.

When God's mercy is upon a man, it open the gate of FAVOUR for him. Favour is what takes a man from the dunghil to the palace.

Your success is not in the labour/work you do, but in favour. Favour is the flavour that colours your labour for breakthrough.

"And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and FAVOUR in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti." Esther 2:15.

Favour is not about money; it is about getting the right thing among men without stress. No matter how small or big your you are; you need God's favour.

"And the LORD gave the people FAVOUR in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people." Ex 11:3

Your prayer point should be "O LORD, saturate my life with your uncommon favour."
