[RELATIONSHIP] QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ANSWER BEFORE YOU MARRY
Before you say “I do,” there are questions you must be courageous enough to ask - and honest enough to answer.
1️⃣ Is he or she genuinely born again?
Is there evidence of a real relationship with Christ?
2️⃣ Is he or she religious, or truly transformed by God?
What happens when there is conflict? Can the person put the Bible aside and say, “Let’s fight”?
3️⃣ Does he or she submit to authority?
Can they receive correction, listen to wise counsel, and respect godly leadership or does nobody have the right to talk to them?
4️⃣ Is he or she a ticking time bomb? 💥
How do they respond to anger and misunderstanding? Do they break, damage, threaten, or destroy things when upset?
5️⃣ Is he or she fully committed to God?
Or are they constantly seeking extra spiritual influences outside their faith in God?
Marriage is too important to enter with your eyes closed.
Don’t just ask, “Do I love this person?”
Ask, “Who am I about to build a life with?”
