THERE ARE 4 KINDS OF BAPTISM IN THE BIBLE — DO YOU KNOW ALL OF THEM?

Most believers only know one. But the Word of God reveals four distinct baptisms — each one a divine dimension that shapes your identity, power, and purpose as a Kingdom soldier.

1. THE BAPTISM IN WATER — The Public Covenant
(Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38)

This is the outward, physical act that Jesus commanded for every believer. When you step into that water, you are making a public declaration before men, the Church, and the world — that your old life is over and you now belong to Christ. It is not a ritual — it is a Kingdom enlistment ceremony. Like a wedding ring, it doesn't make the covenant, but it boldly announces it.

The lesson: Water baptism is your public testimony. Do not be ashamed of it.

2. THE BAPTISM INTO CHRIST — The Spiritual Union
(Romans 6:3-4; Galatians 3:27; 1 Corinthians 12:13)

This is the inward, spiritual reality that happens at salvation — performed not by a man, but by the Holy Spirit Himself. You are placed into Christ — joined to His death, buried with Him, and raised in His resurrection life. This is what makes you a true member of His Body. Men cannot see it, but heaven records it.

The lesson: You are not just a church member — you are IN Christ. That is your unshakeable identity.

3. THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT — The Supernatural Equipping
(Acts 1:5; Acts 2:1-4)

Jesus said, "You shall receive power after the Holy Spirit comes upon you." This baptism is not about salvation — it is about Kingdom capacity. The disciples were already believers before Pentecost, but they needed this fire to become world-changers. The Holy Spirit baptism releases boldness, spiritual gifts, and divine authority to do the works of the Kingdom.

The lesson: Salvation gets you into the Kingdom. The Holy Spirit baptism equips you to advance it.

4. THE BAPTISM OF SUFFERING — The Purifying Fire
(Luke 12:50; Mark 10:38-39)

This is the one nobody preaches about — but Jesus did. He said, "I have a baptism to be baptised with, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished!" He was speaking of His suffering and death. And He asked James and John, "Can you drink the cup I drink?" Every Kingdom soldier will face a baptism of pressure, pain, and trial that burns away everything that is not of God — and produces pure gold.

The lesson: Your suffering is not punishment — it is purification. It is the fellowship of His sufferings, and it leads to glory.

All four are in the Bible. All four are real. And a mature Kingdom believer will walk through all four in their lifetime.

HEALING FROM EMOTIONAL WOUNDS
He Heals More Than Your Body — He Heals Your Soul

There are wounds that no doctor can reach.

Wounds that don't bleed outwardly, but quietly drain you from within. The wound of rejection. The ache of betrayal. The heaviness of shame you've carried since childhood. The grief that never fully left. The voice inside that says "you are too broken to be loved."

You've tried to patch them yourself — with busyness, with success, with people, with noise. But they keep reopening.

Here's what I want you to know today:

Jesus didn't just come to save your spirit and ignore your soul. He came as the complete Healer — body, mind, and heart.

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
- Psalm 147:3

He doesn't look at your broken places and flinch. He moves toward them. That's the miracle most people miss — God is not repelled by your pain. He is drawn to it.

When the woman with the issue of blood pressed through the crowd, Jesus didn't just heal her body. He called her "Daughter" — restoring the identity that sickness and shame had stolen from her for 12 years. (Luke 8:48)

That's what He does. He doesn't just remove the wound. He restores the name.

So today, I want to speak directly to someone:

You have been strong for too long. You have smiled through pain, prayed while hurting, and kept going while quietly falling apart. And God sees every bit of it.

He is not asking you to pretend. He is asking you to COME.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
- Matthew 11:28

Not "fix yourself first, then come." Not "get it together, then pray." Just — come as you are.

Healing through Jesus is not always instant — but it is always REAL. It is sure and certain.

Sometimes it comes like a flood — sudden, overwhelming, undeniable.
Sometimes it comes like dawn — slowly, steadily, until one day you realise the darkness is gone.

But it always comes to those who bring their wounds to the only One whose own wounds carry healing power.

"By His stripes, we are healed."
Isaiah 53:5

He was pierced so your pain could have an exit. He bore the cross so you wouldn't have to carry what was never yours to carry alone.

You are not too far gone.
You are not too complicated.
You are not beyond His reach.

Bring Him your broken heart today — all the pieces, all the mess, all the questions. He is faithful, and He is near.

🙏 Lord Jesus, reach into every hidden wound in the heart of the person reading this. Let Your love go deeper than the hurt. Heal what time could not heal. Restore what the enemy stole. And remind them that they are Yours — wholly loved, wholly seen, wholly held. Amen.

💬 Drop a 🙏 in the comments if you needed this today.

I had a long time of waiting on the Lord in 2008. It was a really tough time for me.

It was in that season that the Lord came with the mandate of raising Kingdom Soldiers for Him.

These would be people whose
- business will be to tear down devil's strongholds in every place
- mission will be to see to the enthronement of the Lord Jesus in every place
- focus will be that the people be delivered to serve the Lord in such a place.

These will be a Force who will make the Kingdom business their business, the Kingdom passion their passion and the Kingdom vision their vision.
