The Godly Brains

The Godly Brains is a legally established Nonprofit Christian Organization registered under Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria. Godly Brains oversees a network of ministries and agencies that provide for the recruitment, development, training and release of purpose-driven, spiritually sound, character-based, and confident individuals (young people in particular) motivated by their conscious responsibility to maximize their inherent leadership potentials.

Godly Brains is not a church or a denomination, but serves as a Christian growth and resource center, a charismatic teaching fellowship, and an international outreach center which provides regular worship opportunity for people of all races, tribes and colors thereby fulfilling the great commission mandate of our Lord.

Godly Brains International Christian Center (GBICC), one of the Six (6) arms of the Godly Brains, serves as our National Corporate Headquarters as well as a teaching Center for the purpose of training, equipping and empowering individuals to discover, develop, deploy and maximize the potentials of their inherent gifts and purpose. It will serve the purpose of equipping young people for a significant ministry by helping them discover the gifts, talents, and purposes God gave them. It is a place of developing people to spiritual maturity through worship, Bible studies, small groups, seminars, retreats, and special conferences.

Our vision is to help (young) people discover their PURPOSE, develop their LEADERSHIP potentials, and be driven by biblical INTEGRITY.

OUR MISSION

To be an international Christian organization with a global mandate to teach, train, and develop practical programs for discovering, understanding and applying the precepts, keys, principles, values, morals, and standards of the kingdom of heaven on earth, producing a community of people with a lifestyle, reflecting Heaven’s culture. Our end result is to produce young people who will be without blemish but of good appearance and skillful in all wisdom, endowed with knowledge, understanding learning, and competent to stand in any circumstances of life without faltering, after the order of biblical Daniel.

All the activities of the Godly Brains will revolve around the three core values of:

OUR ACTION POINTS

· To provide a wholesome Christian approach to solving misdemeanors among the young people on one hand, and the society in general, as a way of bridging the gap that has been created in the contemporary means of handling youth oriented problems.

· To help young people realize the power and relevance of Christian faith and its application to every life issues.

· To prepare young people for future leadership positions such that they will have abilities to serve at various levels with purpose, godliness, divine wisdom and integrity of life.

· Helping young people to come to term with their true identity in God as a way of overcoming inferiority complex and as an antidote against mediocrity and human exploitation.

· Helping them to develop their mental ability through careful and consistent exposure to relevant resource materials thereby positioning them as contributors rather than consumers in the overall global development.

· Leading them to discover their life purpose and esteem purposeful living as an antidote to irrelevance and redundancy in life.

· Helping them to understand and appreciate the different developmental stages of their lives and how to make the most of it rather than abusing it.

OUR SLOGAN - Molding lives, Making Global Impact

OUR REGISTERED NAME

The registered name of the organization with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) is The Godly Brains Ministry (Inc.) for official purposes. However, for everyday activities, branding, logo and common usage, we have adopted THE GODLY BRAINS (GB) as the organization name.

OUR PROGRAMS

The Godly Brains runs four (4) major training programs in a year namely:

· Reading for a Change Conference:

This holdd on every campus where we intend to have the GBClub or where there is an existing one where participants will be taught the dynamics of reading viz-a-viz: Why you Need to Read; What you need to Read; Where you Need to Read; When you Need to Read and Ways you Need to Read. This conference also holds for those outside the campus in the month of March every year at any location where such need arises. The first edition was held in 2012 at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso and New Reservation Area Baptist Church, Iyaganku, Ibadan.

· Discovery Moments:

This is a training Institute which holds in the month of August, where participants are taken through a time of mind-blowing discoveries from God’s word on the core values of PURPOSE, LEADERSHIP, AND INTEGRITY. Participants are expected to buy/read selected books recommended for the training. The maiden edition was held in August 2012.

· Emerging Leader’s Summit:

This conference brings Resource Persons together in the area of leadership from both within and outside the country to teach in-depth Dynamics of Leadership in a specialized version. We network with different Christian organizations around the world to run this conference. It holds in the month of October. The maiden edition was held in October 2012

· Purpose, Potential and Passion Conference (PPP)

This is a conference where we create an enabling environment for the Holy Spirit to set all participants ablaze with fresh fire so that they can run the race of life with purpose and passion while they seek to maximize their potentials. It usually runs for 4 days in a camping style. PPP started initially as a one-day program in 2009.
