Home Life-line Ministries

Home Life-line Ministries Who we are
HOME LIFE-LINE MINISTRIES is not a Church but a para-church and church-helping ministry.
(1)

It is a non-profit, non-denominational and non-governmental organization that is committed to promoting marital happiness and family harmony around the world, beginning from Nigeria. The Ministry collaborates and partners with churches, church ministers/leaders and other religious or social organizations to organize and sponsor marriage-enriching, family-empowering and youth-equipping programmes b

oth within and outside Nigeria in order to make our world better, healthier, livelier and safer. It is our belief that when there is love, joy and peace in homes, violence and crime wave in our communities will reduce considerably and security of life and property will greatly improve. To the glory of God, wonderful testimonies have been received from participants and from host-churches and other organizations who have benefitted immensely from our programmes. Our Belief
HOME LIFE-LINE MINISTRIES believes and recognizes that family was established and ordained by God as the basic unit of every human society and the corner-stone of a stable and progressive moral, social, economic, political and spiritual order. We believe also and recognize that, since no community can rise above the corporate quality and strength of its constituent families, the right place to start the moral, social, economic, political and spiritual reconstruction, restoration and transformation of today’s beaten and battered society is the home. Our Vision
To see Nigeria and the world at large morally, economically, socially and spiritually transformed through the transformation of many families and restoration of many marriages to what God originally designed and ordained them to be. Our Mission
 To strengthen marital and family relationships by helping married couples improve the quality of their marital relationships and enjoy a better home life experience.
 To assist and equip parents in their efforts to raise morally-sound, responsible and God-fearing children who will become future leaders of various religious, social, political, corporate, national and international bodies.

FAMILY RESTORATION:
A UNIVERSAL NEED

"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten....." (Joel 2:25-26).

Family restoration is a pervasive and universal need in human experience. There's no single family in the world today that does not need restoration in one area or another - or at one level or another.
This has been the case for every family from the days of Adam and Eve after their fall in the Garden of Eden.
Right now, many husbands and wives are not happy or satisfied with the situation of things in their marriages because they are not growing closer or growing together and stronger in love, harmony and understanding. Instead, they are growing apart and the gap between them keeps growing wider and wider with each passing day, week, month or year.
Affection, romance and s*x have departed from many marriages to the point that many husbands and wives today no longer feel any emotional attachment or connection with their spouses again.
There is so much boredom in many couples' bedrooms these days that many men and women are now looking outside to have their emotional and s*xual needs met or satisfied.
Similarly, the physical and emotional gaps existing between many parents and their children are so wide now that they relate towards one another as if they have no blood ties at all. It is the reason many parents today are living like childless parents.
What all these families and individuals need is the restoration of those vital things that are missing in their relationships.

During FAMILY RESTORATION HOUR programme, those vital things and other issues that often serve as stress-triggers in marital and family relationships will be highlighted and discussed with dispassionate objectivity. Proactive approaches to family restoration will be shared with participants while an aggressive prayer session for Divine encounter and family restoration will feature in the programme.

These days, we have heard or seen many people, young and old, commit su***de because they couldn't find their way out of the wilderness of depression and hopelessness or experience the positive restoration they passionately desired.
FAMILY RESTORATION HOUR has been designed to bring hope to the hopeless and direct participants to the right road to restoration in their personal and family lives.

Join us on Home Lifeline Ministry platform on Telegram every Thursday night, 8pm to 9pm (Nigeria time) and have a personal encounter with Jesus Christ the unchanging Changer.
For more information, please see the attached flyer for the phone numbers to call.
Jesus Christ is waiting to receive you and bless you at the programme.

HE CAME ON A RESTORATION MISSION

‘‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord’’ (Luke 4:18-19).

When Jesus Christ came to this world in the flesh the first time, He came on a rescue and restoration mission. He came to restore to us all that we had lost through Adam.
Through Adam, we lost life but Jesus came to restore life back to us. He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10).
Through Adam, we lost peace but Jesus came to give us peace. He said, "My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" (John 14:27). Jesus is the Prince of peace; that is why He is able to give us abundant peace in a world filled with turbulence and fear.
Through Adam, we lost a cordial fellowship with God but Jesus Christ came to restore that cordial fellowship. That's why the Bible says, "God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them’’ (2 Corinth. 5:19).

During FAMILY RESTORATION HOUR programme to be hosted by Home Lifeline Ministry on Telegram, sound and transformative biblical truths that will turn participants’ lives and family situations around will be shared. Participants' minds’ eyes will be opened to the limitless resources, opportunities and possibilities that are available to them in Christ Jesus.

Please join us in this spiritual adventure into the realms of God’s glory and abundance in Christ Jesus. With Jesus Christ in you, your hopelessness will be replaced by the hope of glory that is available only in Jesus Christ.
As you participate in the program, you will no longer live under the canopy of fear; instead you will be transformed from a victim of life’s circumstances to a victor and controller of life’s circumstances. You will be equipped and empowered to take control of your life’s situation, turn your face from the negative direction of setback and failure and move to the higher level of life that has hitherto remained elusive and unreachable to you.

The programme comes up on Telegram, every Thursday evening, 8pm to 9pm, Nigeria time, on Home Lifeline platform.

Come, Jesus Christ is waiting to turn your story into glory.

See flyer for the phone numbers to call for more information. You can also call us for counselling and prayer-care.
We look forward to meeting you next week Thursday. Jesus is Lord.

Hello friends. I found this message very instructive. I hope it will bless you too.

Short Story of the Day:

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it everyday. He climbed to the treetop, ate the apples, and took a nap under the shadow.

He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him. Time went by, the little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree every day.

One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad.
“Come and play with me”, the tree asked the boy.

“I am no longer a kid, I do not play around trees any more” the boy replied.

“I want toys. I need money to buy them.”

“Sorry, but I do not have money, but you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money.”

The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree was sad.

One day, the boy who now turned into a man returned and the tree was excited.

“Come and play with me” the tree said.

“I do not have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?”

“Sorry, but I do not have any house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house.” So the man cut all the branches of the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the man never came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad.

One hot summer day, the man returned and the tree was delighted.

“Come and play with me!” the tree said.

“I am getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?” said the man.

“Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy.”

So the man cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and never showed up for a long time.

Finally, the man returned after many years. “Sorry, my boy. But I do not have anything for you anymore. No more apples for you”, the tree said. “No problem, I do not have any teeth to bite” the
man replied.

“No more trunk for you to climb on.” “I am too old for that now” the man said. “I really cannot give you anything, the only thing left is my dying roots,” the tree said with tears.

“I do not need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years,” the man replied.

“Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest, come sit down with me and rest.” The man sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears.

This is a story of everyone. The tree is like our parents. When we were young, we loved to play with our Mum and Dad. When we grow up, we leave them; only come to them when we need something or when we are in trouble. No matter what, parents will always be there and give everything they could just to make you happy.

You may think the boy is cruel to the tree, but that is how all of us treat our parents. We take them for granted; we don’t appreciate all they do for us, until it’s too late.

~ Moral: Treat your parents with loving care…. For you will know their value, when you see their empty chair…We never know the love of our parents for us; till we have become parents.

POWER IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD

"When my enemies turn back, they shall fall and perish at Your presence" ('Psalm 9:3).

There is power, mighty power, in the presence of God. This power works in two ways.
1. It serves as a wall of refuge and defence for children of God (Psalm 91:1-4). When you are in the presence of God, you have divine insurance that never expires.
2. It serves as a territory of destruction for the enemies of God's children (Psalm 9:3). When God looked down at the army of the Egyptians in the middle of the Red Sea, trouble and destruction visited them. They all perished in the Sea (Exodus 14:24-28).

Go to the presence of God this morning in fellowship with other children of God. Worship God in truth and in holiness and enjoy the blessings of His presence. Go with an open heart to hear what God has for you in His message.
Throughout this week, seek the presence of God in everything you do. You will see obstacles turn into miracles and burdens into blessings.

I pray, as you go today, the presence of God will go with you, all your enemies shall fall and perish at His presence, He will make a way for you and give you access to your destiny in Jesus name.

May you receive the grace to seek the presence of the Lord throughout this week. Have a blessed Sunday.

CHECKMATING EVIL COUNSELS

"The thoughts of the righteous are right, but the counsels of the wicked are deceitful" (Prov. 12:5).

Counselling is an everyday activity that takes place almost every minute both in the high and low levels of life.
To a great extent, the counsels we give and take give life its direction and character.
Through his evil counsel, Haman influenced King Ahaseurus to put his royal seal on a decree for the extermination of the Jews in his kingdom. It took divine intervention to avert the mass destruction of God's people that the evil counsel would have caused.
Through evil counsel, King Darius was made to sign into law a decree that outlawed prayer to God in his kingdom. The decree was a ploy to catch Daniel and get him destroyed. God made the evil counsel to backfire when those who planned the destruction of Daniel were caught in their own traps and got themselves destroyed.
I pray that those who attempt to get you destroyed through evil counsels will get themselves destroyed in Jesus name.

To checkmate evil counsels in our communities and in the nation at large, there is need for qualified and competent counsellors to give people the right counsels. You can be one of such counsellors by registering for our intensive, indepth and biblically-sound Christian Counselling Certificate Course.
Let God use you to save many people who are going astray and perishing in the wilderness of life. Registration is still in progress.

KEEP GOING AND
KEEP GROWING IN 2022

The year 2022 is still young. We are in first week out of the 52 weeks that make up the year. However, if you sincerely desire to make progress, experience growth and succeed this year, you must get going and keep growing.
Don’t wait until the weather is fair for you to step out in faith. Remember that wise saying, “He who observes the wind will not sow, and he who observes the cloud will not reap” (Eccles. 11:4).
All weather is fair to him who passionately desires to succeed in life. Successful people are never afraid to sail against contrary winds.
Don’t look at your age. You know what? Abraham was 75 years old when God called him out of his father’s house, out of his town and out of his country to start a new life in a strange and unfamiliar land. He was 100 years old and his wife, Sarah, was 90 when they had their only child, Isaac.
Moses was 80 years old when God commissioned him to start a revolution and liberate the children of Israel from Egyptian bo***ge.
If it wasn’t too late for God to do those things in Abraham, Sarah and Moses’ lives, it isn’t too late for Him to do the same in your life.
So, don’t be deceived by your age. Believe me, “The remaining sun-heat in the sky of your life is enough to dry your wet clothes.”
Possibly, you feel you are too young and inexperienced to start a big project. Listen: “Josiah was 8 years old when he became king, and he reigned for 31 years in Jerusalem” (2 Kings 22:1). How experienced could an 8-year-old prince be about governance and royal duties? Yet, Josiah successfully reigned for 31 solid years and he did what was right in the sight of God. Who says you are too young to succeed in life? Never believe them.
Regardless of your age and regardless of the socio-economic or political situation in your present location, keep going, keep learning and keep improving yourself. The future holds a bright promise for you.
“A word,” they say, “is enough for the wise.”
Have a bright day.

LET GOD LEAD YOU

"I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel" ( Isaiah 45:2-3).

Welcome to the new year 2022. That we saw the end of year 2021 is just by the grace and mercy of God. The year was full of many terrible challenges, deaths and losses - but we passed through them all by His grace. Glory be to the Almighty God who was our Shield and our Buckler throughout the stormy year.

Beloved, as we begin this new year 2022, the Lord has laid it on my heart to share the following truth from the throne of grace with you.
1. Let God go before you. This new year is a new road you have never taken before. You need the right Guide, and that right Guide is God. Let God lead the way and show you the right direction and path to take so that you will not walk into disaster. Commit your way to God and He will guide your steps throughout this year.
2. Follow His leading. It is one thing for God to lead you, it's another thing for you to follow Him. Life is full of many roads and ways. You won't miss your way only if you follow God's leading throughout this year.
3. This new year is full of many crooked places where you will come across many crooked people doing crooked businesses. Only God can make crooked places straight for you and save you from crooked people. The businesses and lives of many people perished at such crooked places and at the hands of crooked people last year. Let God go before you and make those crooked places straight for you.
4. The road of life this year is full of many bronze gates that will shut out many people from their blessings and legitimate possessions. Only God can help you break those gates and give you access to your breakthrough and blessings.
5. Across the way this year are many satanic and demonic bars that will keep many people stranded in the wilderness of nowhere. If you don't want to be one of the victims to be demobilized and stranded at any of those satanic bars, let God lead the way and break the bars for you.
6. Finally, year 2022 is full of many treasures and riches but they are hidden in the dark and secret places of life. Only God before whom there is no darkness or hidden places (Heb. 4:13) can reveal those treasures and riches to you and give you access to them.
Start each day with God. Commit every decision you make and every step you are about to take each day to God. Follow His guidance and do whatever He commands you to do, and it shall be well with you.

Friends, I am using this opportunity to appeal to you to join us in our marriage-enriching and family-empowering crusades this new year. Unite with Jesus and with us to liberate many families and individuals who are in the bo***ge of marital griefs and sorrows and let us unite to prepare them ready for the coming of the Lord.
Your financial support will go a long way to help us reach many families for Christ this year.
You can also contact us for your counseling or prayer-care. We are only a phone call away.
Remember, we are ultimately committed to your marital happiness and harmony.

As you begin the journey of this new year today, I lift up my hand in prayer and commit you to the grace of God. The Lord will cause His face to shine upon you and He will surround you and yours with His favour and mercy wherever you go in Jesus name.

Once again, Happy New Year.
Remain blessed.

25/12/2021

DO YOU HAVE A ROOM FOR JESUS?

"Because there was no room for them in the inn" (Luke 2:6-7).

Christmas is here again. It is the season we are specially reminded of God's demonstration of His unfathomable love for us, mankind (John 3:16).
It is a season we are strongly reminded that it doesn't matter where we were born or the circumstances surrounding our birth.
Christmas reminds us how we often make room for the nonentities of life while we deny room to the necessities of life.

As you celebrate this Christmas, do you have room for Jesus in your heart, life and home? Think about it.
Joseph and Mary sought for a room in an inn but there was no room them there. The time for the arrival of the Saviour of the world had come but the world had no decent place to welcome Him.
Jesus did not delay His arrival until Joseph and Mary could get a decent place. He was contented to be born in a manger where animals were kept and fed. That's how humble His birth was.
From that humble birthplace, Jesus grew up and shook the world that had no room for Him. He wants you too to do a repeat performance of what He did - provided you have a room for Him in your life.
My question now is: "Is your heart a crowded inn or an empty manger? Do you have a room for Jesus in your heart and life?"
If you have not sincerely accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, do so NOW. You don't know the last Christmas you will celebrate on earth. Give Jesus Christ a room in your heart and life today.
Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour but you are too busy and have no room to fellowship with Him and learn at His feet? Change your heart and life from a crowded inn to an empty manger and allow Jesus to transform your life and announce His arrival to the world through you. This is the greatest decision you will ever make in your lifetime.
I made that crucial decision over five decades ago and Jesus has not stopped turning my tests into testimonies and my story into glory.
He wants to do the same thing and much more in your life now.
Invite Jesus Christ afresh into your life and home today - and you will see that the difference is clear.
May you receive the grace to do it in Jesus name.

I lift up my hand and pray for you:
1. As the birth of Jesus turned an ordinary manger into an extraordinary place where shepherds came to pay homage to Jesus Christ, the presence of Jesus in your life will turn your life into an extraordinary life from today in Jesus name.
2. As the angels of God came down from heaven to announce the birth of Jesus Christ, heaven will open and announce the gifting of God in your life from today in Jesus name.
3. As you are preparing to step into the new year, the Lord will move you and yours from ordinary level to an extraordinary level in year 2022 in Jesus name.

Go on your way rejoicing.
