SAT. 22ND MARCH. | REFRAIN YOUR LIPS
WISDOM TIP: The silence of a fool is stronger than the talkativeness of the wise.

In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: But he that refraineth his lips is wise. Proverbs 10:19 KJV

Talkativeness is not a show of wisdom, therefore, always let your words be few. Our opening portion of the Scripture confirmed it that wise people refrained their words. Fools talk too much.

The Scripture says, " Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: And he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding" (Proverbs 28:17). The silence of a fool is stronger than the talkativeness of the wise.

If you are a person who knows how to bridle your tongue, you don't know how much God has helped you. The major bulk of the problems men face, come through talkativeness. When you can't bridle your tongue, you will invite avoidable battles.

It's important to note the difference between personal revelation and public information. There is lack of quietness among today’s believers; they talk too much and fail to “study to be quiet” according to the Scripture in 1 Thessalonians .4:11KJV.

Talkativeness is a point of leakage in one’s spiritual life. If we speak less, what we speak will be more powerful. If we learn to obey the Holy Spirit in this area, our daily speech will be reduced by half! This will glorify God.

COUNSEL: Listen more and talk less,
PRAYERS: 1. Father, help me to bridle my tongue. 2. Father, deliver me by fire, from every battles of words.

DECLARATION: I decree that the grace to bridle your tongue is released on you now in Jesus name.
CONFESSION: I act more and talk less .

THUR. 20TH MAR. | *DON'T BE LAZY*
Wisdom tip: Nobody becomes resultful by being lucky but by working.

Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth. Proverbs 10:4 NIV

It is critical to note that there is a great connection between wretchedness and laziness and this is fully confirmed by our opening portion of the Scripture. There is dignity in labour. He who will not work will beg from he that works. God worked for six days and only rested on the seventh day. Hard work is the cure for hard life.

Paul made us to note that his results were products of grace and abundance of labour. "But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me" (1 Corinthians 15:10).

Nobody becomes resultful by been lucky but by working. Three areas of life you must labour to see results:

1. SPIRITUAL LABOUR: You must begin your labour spiritually to see results physically. You must feed on the Word until you have revelation that you will infuse into your physical work to see results. Also, learn to pray abundantly.

2. MENTAL LABOUR: You need fresh wisdom and ideas to see fresh results in your work. Without a change of approach, the reproach will remain. Learn to think, for your endeavours not to stink or sink.

3. PHYSICAL LABOUR: You need to infuse your physical energy into what you are doing. Even our Lord Jesus who was on a fulltime ministry was always moving about teaching or healing the sick. Laziness is the mother of wretchedness.

COUNSEL: Work hard and work smart. Don't just use your hands, use your head.

DECLARATION: I pray that God will baptize you with the grace to labour and see results in Jesus name.

TUE. 18TH MARCH | GOD OF RESTORATION WITH COMPENSATION
WISDOM TIP: God is highly interested in turning the devilishness of the devil over your life into foolishness.

"Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry; But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house" (Proverbs 6:30-31)

Throughout Scriptures we see that divine restoration is always accompanied by divine compensation. The scripture above made us to understand that if a thief be caught he shall restore that which was stolen in sevenfold. Our Lord Jesus also said he came to give back to us in abundance what the thief has stolen in John 10:10. Why do God restore with compensation?

1. To turn the devil's wisdom into foolishness: Scripture says, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28). The devil thought Job had lost everything he had, but God gave him double for all his troubles. Saul was looking for the missing donkeys but he found both the donkeys and the kingdom of Israel. God is highly interested in turning the devilishness of the devil over your life into foolishness.

2. To prove that waiting is not wasting: The Bible says, "Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured" (Proverbs 27:18). You cannot honour God by waiting on him and end up in dishonour. Most barren women who waited on God in scriptures gave birth to honourable children. For example Hannah gave gave birth to the most respected prophet in Israel, Prophet Samuel.

3. To give you a catch up growth to match up with your age: Many times we worry when we realize that certain results we should have at certain age of our lives are still lacking. But it's nothing to worry about, all we need is to wait on God. Scripture says, "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40: 31).

In the place of waiting, God releases a catch up strength for a catch up growth. God asked me to tell you that there are people you are looking up to today that will soon be looking up to you very soon in Jesus name. Amen

COUNSEL: Trust God for restoration with compensation.
PRAYERS: Father, I ask for the restoration of all that the enemies have stolen in Jesus name.

DECLARATION: I pray that for every losses you have ever experienced in life, God will give you restoration with compensation in Jesus name.
CONFESSION: I enjoy restoration with compensation.

  MON. 17TH MAR. | DON'T TOY WITH SIN

WISDOM TIP: Five minutes sexual pleasure can put your next five decades under pressure.

For by means of a harlot A man is reduced to a crust of bread; And an adulteress will prey upon his precious life. 

Proverbs 6:26 NKJV

 

Nothing reduces the life and destiny of a man quickly as immorality. Five minutes sexual pleasure can put your next five decades under pressure. Be warned!

Our opening portion of the Scripture confirmed this by saying, "For by means of a harlot A man is reduced to a crust of bread; And an adulteress will prey upon his precious life". (Proverbs 6:26 NKJV). When a man begins to live in sin, the good things of life begins to leave him. 

Fleeing from sin is a proof of wisdom while toying with sin is a confirmation of foolishness. The Scripture says, Proverbs 14:9 AMP, "Fools mock sin [but sin mocks the fools], But among the upright there is good will and the favor and blessing of God. [Prov 10:23].

The consequences of sin may not come immediately but it will come eventually. Fools focus on the enjoyment of sin but wise men focus its consequences and this help them to flee from it.

COUNSEL: Flee from sin permanently.

PRAYERS: (1) Father, help me to flee from the sins that easily entices me. (2) Father, help me separate from every sin partners now.

DECLARATION: Today, I declare that every appetite and passion for sin in you, die now in Jesus name.

CONFESSION: I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

SAT. 15TH MAR. 2025 | *PROOFS OF WISDOM*
WISDOM TIP: There are many intelligent fools, who know so much but act so less.

A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; And a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
Proverbs 1:5 KJV

Wisdom is key to freedom from all the oppressions of life. Where there is no wisdom, there will be boredom. There are different proofs of wisdom but three were highlighted above which are:

1. The ability to listen: The Bible says, "A wise man will hear...". Foolish people talk more and listen less but wise people talk less and listen more. Someone said that God gave us two ears and one mouth, so that we can listen twice and talk once.

2. The ability to increase learning: The Bible says, "A wise man will hear, and will increase learning...". This means wise people add to their learning. It is foolishness that makes you to leave secondary school for 10years without furthering your education. Wise people upgrade their skills and knowledge.

3. The ability to attain unto wise counsels: The Bible says, "...And a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels". One of the proofs of wisdom is doing what you know. Today, there are many intelligent fools, who know so much but act so less. Mercy!

COUNSEL: Be wise and you will rise.
PRAYERS: (a) Father, I apply for more wisdom today in Jesus name. (b) Lord Jesus, help me to attain unto wise counsels.

DECLARATION: Go and enjoy the wisdom of God in abundance in Jesus name.
CONFESSION:In this new month, I enjoy new wisdom!

THUR. 13TH MAR. | FEAR GOD, NOT THE DEVIL

WISDOM TIP: It is faith failure that sponsors a lifetime failure.

'The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction' (Proverbs 1:7)

If the fear of God is the beginning of knowledge then the fear of the devil is the proof of ignorance. RW. Shambach shared a story in one of his books of how Jesus appeared to a dying man who has only few more days to live and said, 'There is no problem in life all you need is faith in God' and the man stood up from the bed and was permanently healed.

One thing I used to tell myself is that I don't have any problem all I need is to build my faith in the challenging areas of my life because Jesus cannot lie. Many people fail in life not because the devil is strong but due to the accommodation of fear. It is faith failure that sponsors a lifetime failure.

It is the fear of poverty that sponsors poverty. It will stop you from sowing which will eventually stop you from harvesting. It will make you to borrow what you should trust God for, thereby incurring more debts and becoming poorer. It is the fear of sickness that provokes infirmity. It makes you to feel symptoms that never existed. It is the fear of death that sponsors death.

A man of God said, 'I am too afraid of God to be afraid of the devil'. Fear God and not the devil. Fear is a magnet of disaster. Anything that you are afraid of will come eventually, even if it does not come immediately. Job said, 'For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me' (Job 3:25). Feed your faith in God's word to starve your fear.

COUNSEL: Load your sprit man with the Word of God.
DECLARATION: Today you are immunized by God against fear and a fresh fire of faith comes upon you today to take your place in destiny in Jesus name.

DECLARATION: I am too afraid of God to be afraid of the devil.

MON. 10TH MARCH | KEEP LEARNING
WISDOM TIP: The discipline to learn is a proof of wisdom.

'A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels' (Proverbs 1:5)

A woman read a book after her marriage had crashed only to realized how she could have saved her home, had it been she read it earlier. The book was a gift during her wedding but she never opened it until five years later. Friend, there is no gift of knowledge but we only have the discipline of study.

Someone said, " You need two 'Gs' to survive in life, "God and Goggle". Whatever you cannot get from Google is available with God and whatever God is silent about, you may get it on Goggle. Three things you need to understand about knowledge.

1. LEARN: One thing I have learnt about life is that there is always a thing to learn. Scripture says, 'A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels' (Proverbs 1:5). The discipline to learn is a proof of wisdom.

2. UNLEARN: There are wrong concepts you have learnt about life maybe through your environment or relationship that could be hazardous to your future that you need to get rid off. Maybe your parents used to ask you to tell visitors that they are not at home even when they are around. And you have started telling your wife to do the same. Then you must unlearn the act of telling lies.

3. RELEARN: There are stuffs you know already but some how you are losing your convictions based on this principles that had commanded results for you in time past. Then such acts must be relearn. For example you used to tithe and there have been several testimonies you can attribute to it. But recently you're struggling with tithing. Now go back and study the subject of tithing to rekindle the fire. That is the act of relearning.

COUNSEL: Be studious and be sensitive to divine instructions.

PRAYERS: 1. Father, help me to increase in knowledge in Jesus name. 2. Father, I receive wisdom to show forth your glory in Jesus name.
DECLARATION: Receive fresh wisdom in Jesus name.
CONFESSION: I refused to be a fool!
