TOPIC: GIVING FROM A WILLING HEART (IFIFUNI LATI INU OKAN WA)

A. HEART (A WILLING HEART)

When a person gives his/her life to Christ, all that he/she does afterwards for God’s kingdom must be from the heart- Acts 16:12-15; Eph 6:5-6
- Abel gave offering to God from his heart- Gen. 4:3-4
- David purposed in his heart to build a house for God- 1kings 8:17, 2Sam.7:1-3
- King Hezekiah did the service of God with all his heart- 2Chr 31:20-21
- Daniel purposed in his heart- Dan 1:8
- People of David’s time wholehearted gave to God’s work – 1Chro. 29:9

B. EXODUS 35:1-5

Only those who were willing to give were invited to participate in the building of the tabernacle (V.5)
God loves cheerful gives – 2Cor 9 :7

Our giving should be from love and generosity not from a guilty conscience.

Morris Cerullo in his bible (Financial Breakthrough and Spiritual warfare Bible) says “Generous people are not necessarily faithful to God but faithful people are always generous”.
Remarks: withholding from God will bring you into a cycle of financial defeat. But your faithfulness to God in giving is the key to walking in God’s supernatural provision and super abundance in your life.

iii. David – 1 Chro. 29:1-13

Baptists all over the country are known for their love for hymns. We even boast that we have the best hymn book and we in the south west of Nigeria are very proud to have many of the foreign hymns translated to Yoruba.
With that as a Baptist member, how many hymns can you sing off hand- i mean from the 1st stanza to the last? Which of these hymms in Yoruba or English happens to be your favourite? You sing it almost everyday.

Rev Adeolu Ogunleye sets to release "The Blood That Speaks"

It is no more news that d much awaited Musical album will be launched this sunday, 7th April, 2013 by 3pm prompt at The Institute of Church and Society, Samonda. Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria.

According to the chairman planning committee, Mr Seyi Majaro, "all plans are on top gear to dedicate, launch and release the lastest musical work by the anointed gospel music minister, Rev. A. A. Ogunleye this sunday".

He further stated that the 8-track album which speaks in music on the power in the blood of Christ is set to win souls into the kingdom of Jesus, "the blood of Christ cleanses us from all our sins, saves sinner and also serve as protection for us all".

He further disclosed that a track is dedicated to The President of Nigerian Baptist Convention, Rev. Dr. Supo Ayokunle, to appreciate God's anointing on him and for the Holy Spirit initiative to start NIGHT OF WONDERS.

Expected at the occassion are ; Rev. Dr. Supo Ayokunle as the special guest of Honour, Prince Boye Jaiyeola and Mrs B.F Balogun as the father and Mother of the day respectively while Mr Awodoye Gbenga, CEO, Bidgbenga Nigeria Limited is expected to be the chief Launcher alongside other principal and co- launchers.
Rev. Dr. I.O Akano will be the chief host.
Majaro also disclosed that the cd will be available at this year Baptist Convention ground in Osogbo and also @ Ebenezer Baptist Church, Oke-Itunu, Mokola, Ibadan.
Mr Seyi calls on every individual to ensure that they get copies of the cd and also buy for friends and relatives.
