عن عبد الله بن مسعود -رضي الله عنه- قال: سألت رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم- أيُّ الذنب أعظم؟ قال: (أن تجعل لله نِدًّا، وهو خَلَقَكَ) قلت: ثم أَيُّ؟ قال: (ثم أن تقتل ولدك خَشْيَةَ أن يأكل معك) قلت: ثم أَيُّ؟ قال: (ثم أن تُزَانِي حَلِيْلَةَ جَارِكَ).

‘Abdullah ibn Mas‘ood, may Allah be pleased with him, reported: "I asked the Messenger of Allah, may Allahs peace and blessings be upon him: Which sin is greatest (in the sight of Allah?) He said: That you set an equal to Allah while He alone created you. I said: What is next? He said: That you kill your child lest he should share your food with you. I said: What is next? He said: That you commit adultery with your neighbors wife"

Jaabir ibn ‘Abdullaah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allahs peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever meets Allah without associating partners with Him will enter Paradise, and whoever meets Him while associating partners with Him will enter Hell".

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:
"Look to one who is lower than you, and do not look to one who is above you. For indeed that is more worthy(so that you will) not belittle Allah's favors upon you." [Tirmidhi:2515,IF-BD]

Narrated Abu Dharr:That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Let one of you not consider any good to be insignificant. If he has nothing, then let him meet his brother with a smiling face. If you buy some meat or cook something in a pot, then increase its broth, and serve some of it to your neighbor." [Tirmidhi:1840,IF-BD]

Hoping in Allah's mercy Dictates that, When a person commits sins and then follows them up with sincere repentance and good deeds, those good deeds wipe away previous wrongs. For example, offering prayer, giving charity, helping others, or seeking forgiveness are all acts that can cleanse one’s record.

*BUYING AND SELLING | Buying | Alcohol and intoxicants*

BISMILLAHI RAHMONI ROHIM

*Ruling concerning buying ci******es for father*

*Question:* _Is it permissible for me to buy to***co (ci******es) for my father as he orders me to do so?_

*Response:* It is not permissible for you to buy anything for your father whose use is haraam, be it ci******es, o***m, drugs (narcotics), alcohol or other than this. This is because it is confirmed from the Prophet (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam):

*(There is no obedience to (any of) the creation whilst committing a sin against the creator).*

And His (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) saying:

*(Certainly, obedience is in (all that is) good).*

So, it is upon you to advise and offer him an excuse against buying them with good manners.

And with Allaah lies all success and may Allaah send prayers and salutations upon our Prophet (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) and his family and his companions.

*BUYING AND SELLING | Buying | Alcohol and intoxicants*

BISMILLAHI RAHMONI ROHIM

*Buying alcohol for use as fuel*

*Question:* _Is it permissible to buy alcohol (which is an intoxicant) to use it in such a way by which it will be destroyed, such as using it as fuel or in some manufacturing processes? And is it permissible to sell it to people who one is certain will use it for such purposes?_

*Response:* Selling alcohol or any other intoxicant is haraam. And it is obligatory for a person who has any of it to destroy it and not sell it, because of the general (meaning of the) statement of Allaah:

{And do not help one another in sin and transgression}, [Soorah al-Maa.idah, Aayah 2].

And with Allaah lies all success and may Allaah send prayers and salutations upon our Prophet (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) and his family and his companions.

*The Obligation and Virtues of Paying Zakat al-Fitr*

Zakat al-Fitr, also known as Sadaqat al-Fitr, is a charitable obligation imposed on Muslims during the month of Ramadan. It is a means of purification for those who fast, as well as a way to provide for the poor and needy.

*The Prophet's Command*

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of paying Zakat al-Fitr, saying:

"Whoever pays it before the prayer, it is accepted as zakat, but if anyone pays it after the prayer, it is just a charity." (Abu Dawud)

He also said:

"The Prophet (peace be upon him) ordained zakat al-fitr to purify the fasting person from indecent words or actions, and to provide food for the needy." (Abu Dawud)

*Virtues of Paying Zakat al-Fitr*

Paying Zakat al-Fitr is not only an obligation, but it also carries numerous virtues, including:

1. *Purification*: Zakat al-Fitr purifies the fasting person from any mistakes or shortcomings during Ramadan.
2. *Providing for the Needy*: Zakat al-Fitr provides essential support to the poor and needy, ensuring they have food and sustenance during Eid al-Fitr.
3. *Unity and Equality*: Zakat al-Fitr promotes unity and equality among Muslims, as everyone is obligated to pay, regardless of their social status.
4. *Increased Rewards*: Paying Zakat al-Fitr increases one's rewards and blessings in this life and the next.

*The Importance of Timeliness*

It is essential to pay Zakat al-Fitr before the Eid al-Fitr prayer, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) emphasized. Paying it after the prayer is still considered a charitable act, but it does not fulfill the obligation of Zakat al-Fitr.

In conclusion, paying Zakat al-Fitr is a vital aspect of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. It not only purifies the fasting person but also provides essential support to the poor and needy. By paying Zakat al-Fitr, Muslims can reap numerous virtues and rewards, while also promoting unity and equality within the community.
