🚫 The Lie of a False Prophet: A Stern Islamic Response

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Just.

Recently, a man from Kenya, Dr. David Owuor, who claims to be a "mighty prophet of God," boldly declared that the world would end on the 2nd of August at midnight. This is not just a lie, it is a direct challenge to the authority of Allah, and a clear sign of misguidance.

> 🔴 Islam does not tolerate such deception.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the Seal of all Prophets, clearly stated that no one knows the Hour except Allah.

📖 Allah says in the Qur’an:

> “They ask you [O Muhammad] about the Hour: when will it be? Say: its knowledge is only with my Lord. None will reveal its time but Him. It weighs heavily upon the heavens and the earth…”
(Surah Al-A‘raaf, 7:187)

⛔ So who is this man to claim what even Prophet Muhammad ﷺ never dared to claim?

This Kenyan man, who walks around in pride, claiming prophethood, is nothing but a false prophet, a fabricator, and a deceiver of the gullible. His so-called “visions” and “prophecies” are nothing more than tricks of Shaytaan or delusions of grandeur.

📌 The Prophet ﷺ warned us:

> “There will come 30 great liars in my Ummah, all claiming to be prophets. But I am the last of the prophets.”
(Abu Dawood, Hasan)

This man fits the exact description: a self-appointed "prophet" who dares to speak of the unseen and plays with the fears of the masses.

❗To the Ummah:

This is a wake-up call. Do not follow these liars who claim divine authority without evidence. Real prophets do not seek fame, luxury, or praise. They do not announce the end of the world like news anchors. They call to Allah alone, not to themselves.

⚖️ His Reckoning is With Allah

To Dr. David Owuor and others like him: You have crossed a sacred line. You have spoken on behalf of Allah without knowledge. You have dared to place yourself in the ranks of the prophets. Repent before the real Hour comes.

> “And who is more unjust than one who invents a

True Success (Falah):

Allah says:

> قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ
"Indeed, the believers are successful."
— Surah Al-Mu’minun (23:1)

Explanation:
Success here (Falah) means eternal success in the Akhirah, and it starts with being a true believer – with the right ‘Aqidah (creed), ‘Ibadah (worship), and Akhlaq (character).

---

2. Qualities of the Successful Believers:

Allah lists them after the above verse (23:1-11):

Khushu’ in prayer

Avoiding vain talk

Paying Zakah

Guarding chastity

Honoring trusts and promises

Being regular in prayers

> أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْوَٰرِثُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ ٱلْفِرْدَوْسَ
"They are the inheritors, who will inherit Al-Firdaus (Paradise)."
— Surah Al-Mu’minun (23:10–11)

---

3. Not Deceived by Worldly Success:

> وَمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَتَـٰعُ ٱلْغُرُورِ
“And the life of this world is nothing but the enjoyment of delusion.”
— Surah Al-Hadid (57:20)

The dunya might give someone najah (temporary success), but not falah (eternal success) unless it is used in obedience to Allah.

---

4. Hadith on Real Success:

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said:

> “Successful is the one who has accepted Islam, is provided with sufficient sustenance, and Allah makes him content with what He has given him.”
— Sahih Muslim 1054

This shows the balance: Islam, halal provision, and contentment.

---

5. Striving for Success in Both Worlds:

A powerful du’a:

> رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
“Our Lord, give us in this world good and in the Hereafter good, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”
— Surah Al-Baqarah (2:201)

🌙 Ramadan Has Left… But Our Worship Must Not!

Alhamdulillah! The blessed month of Ramadan has come to an end, and today, we rejoice in the gift of *Eid-ul-Fitr.* A day of gratitude, joy, and unity for the entire Ummah. But as we celebrate, let’s not forget the lessons Ramadan has taught us.

💛 Did Ramadan change you?
💛 Did you seek forgiveness sincerely?
💛 Did you build habits that will last beyond this month?

Ramadan may be over, but Allah is always near. The doors of mercy remain open, and our worship must continue! Don’t let your Qur’an gather dust. Keep your tahajjud alive. Hold onto the kindness and patience you practiced.

What Should We Do on Eid?

🕌 Perform Ghusl* (purification bath) – Cleanse yourself for this special day.
🥙 Pay Zakat-ul-Fitr– Purify your fast and help the needy before Eid Salah.
🕋 Attend Eid prayer – Gather with the Ummah to glorify Allah.
🤝 Spread love and unity – Greet others with Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum!
🍽️ Celebrate in moderation – Enjoy the blessings but remember the poor.
💛 Continue making du’a – For yourself, your family, and the entire Ummah.

As we step into life after Ramadan, let’s carry its light in our hearts. Stay steadfast, keep seeking Allah’s pleasure, and never let go of the good habits you nurtured.

🌟 Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum! 🌟
(May Allah accept from us and from you!)

🌙 RAMADAN DAY 23 – SEEK FORGIVENESS!

The Prophet ﷺ taught us a powerful dua for these blessed nights:

"Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni"
“O Allah, You are the Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness, so forgive me.”
(Jami’ At-Tirmidhi 3513, Sahih)

As we enter the depths of the last ten nights, this is the time to sincerely seek Allah’s forgiveness and mercy. The night of Laylatul Qadr could be upon us—don’t miss out on the reward of a lifetime!
