🚫 The Lie of a False Prophet: A Stern Islamic Response
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Just.
Recently, a man from Kenya, Dr. David Owuor, who claims to be a "mighty prophet of God," boldly declared that the world would end on the 2nd of August at midnight. This is not just a lie, it is a direct challenge to the authority of Allah, and a clear sign of misguidance.
> 🔴 Islam does not tolerate such deception.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the Seal of all Prophets, clearly stated that no one knows the Hour except Allah.
📖 Allah says in the Qur’an:
> “They ask you [O Muhammad] about the Hour: when will it be? Say: its knowledge is only with my Lord. None will reveal its time but Him. It weighs heavily upon the heavens and the earth…”
(Surah Al-A‘raaf, 7:187)
⛔ So who is this man to claim what even Prophet Muhammad ﷺ never dared to claim?
This Kenyan man, who walks around in pride, claiming prophethood, is nothing but a false prophet, a fabricator, and a deceiver of the gullible. His so-called “visions” and “prophecies” are nothing more than tricks of Shaytaan or delusions of grandeur.
📌 The Prophet ﷺ warned us:
> “There will come 30 great liars in my Ummah, all claiming to be prophets. But I am the last of the prophets.”
(Abu Dawood, Hasan)
This man fits the exact description: a self-appointed "prophet" who dares to speak of the unseen and plays with the fears of the masses.
❗To the Ummah:
This is a wake-up call. Do not follow these liars who claim divine authority without evidence. Real prophets do not seek fame, luxury, or praise. They do not announce the end of the world like news anchors. They call to Allah alone, not to themselves.
⚖️ His Reckoning is With Allah
To Dr. David Owuor and others like him: You have crossed a sacred line. You have spoken on behalf of Allah without knowledge. You have dared to place yourself in the ranks of the prophets. Repent before the real Hour comes.
> “And who is more unjust than one who invents a
