TOPIC: THE SEASON OF POWER



MEMORY VERSE: But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come

upon you: and you shall be witness to Me in Jerusalem, and in

all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8

I. INTRODUCTION

John the Baptist came and preach; “Repent, for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” Matt 3:2. Those who accepted his preaching were baptized with water, but he also preached the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire, this will be done by Jesus during His own ministry. It eventually came to pass after His departure to Heaven.

II. LESSON OUTLINE

A. God of Promise: 2 Pet. 3:4,9

Or God is a God of promise, whatever He will do, He would have promised. By so doing, we live by His promises 2 Pet. 1:4. We are even referred to as children of promise Gal. 4:28. He is also faithful to fulfill His promise Heb. 10:23, He is also the God of fulfill promise! Heb. 6:13-18.

TRINITY SUNDAY

MEMORY VERSE: “For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father,
the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.” 1 Jn. 5:7
TEXTS: A2 Cor. 13:14; 1 Cor. 12:4-6
I. INTRODUCTION: Trinity
God is 3 persons in one. He is a mystery; He created man in His image of three in one. Man is a spirit who has a soul and lives in the body. God is beyond human senses since He is unlimited, invisible and invisible. He in eternal, omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient.
II. LESSON OUTLINE
There 3 persons work together in union, purpose and pursuit. We shall explain to the limit of revelation granted for now.
A. God, the Father: He is the owner of the kingdom 1 Cor. 15:24-28
Who has never been seen by anyone 1 Jn. 4:12; Jn 1:18. He is the Father in heaven; whose name must be hallowed, who will must be done, whose is the kingdom and power and the glory forever. Matt. 6:9-13. It pleases Him to have all the God head raised in the Son Col. 1:19-20; 2:9. Check also 1 Ti. 6:15,16;1:17
B. God, the Son (The Word); He is the mystery of godliness 1 Jn 3:16
He came to reveal the Father. He became Man to make man because the Children of God through the work of salvation. The Father gave everything into His hands. He is the one, “... who lives, and was dead, and behold, He is alive forevermore, and who has the keys of heaven and of death.” Rev. 1:18. He is the visible God the son of the invisible God.
C. God, the Holy Spirit:
H is the one who brought the Son into the physical. He is in charge of the revelation of the mysteries of God 1 Cor. 2:10-13. He is the promise of the Father Acts 1:4. He raised the Son from the death Rom. 8. He brings the power of the kingdom Act 1:8. He distributes gifts according to His will 1 Cor. 12:11. He is the one who dwell in the believers Jn. 14:17. He is the God who makes God and the things of God visible. The body of the believer is His own temple 1 Cor. 6:19.
III. LIFE APPLICATION

May the Lord guide you, lead you, protects you from any pandemic,

Strengthens you, inspire you, may God speaks for you and stands for you even in judgement,

you will never die of hunger, the Lord will supply all your needs,
